Welcome to a land of mystery, amazing wonders and odd colors. The Island of Silmarwen was a place for escape, the gods once lived upon the island. Because the wolf gods lived upon the island, the soil never seems to die. There are also a large rang of territories, all of them different in there own way. From lush forests to hot dry deserts. This land holds great promise but also destruction. As the lands fill with more wolves the packs begin to mold. The wolves choose there destiny by the personalities of the packs. From the evil Brimhor pack to the wise Oropher pack, there is many choices. So come and join us in this land of chance...

Silmarwen is a semi-realistic wolf role-play. We role-play in liquid time meaning you can have your wolf in many places at one time. If we become very active and almost over populated then we will talk about making it just normal role-play. Also wolves here have all colors from pinks to oranges. All are welcome and encouraged. Wings and adornments and small things are also allowed. Though we do not approve of elemental powers. So please don’t use those. Please enjoy your time here and keep the forum active!

Distant Shores

This beautiful shore lines boarders the south of the Oropher pack lands, the rocky ground is very different then that of the north shores, that have soft sand under-paw. The wolves of Oropher can often be found here sunbathing in the warm sunlight. There is a constant supply of fish that live in the shallows around the rocks. The calm waters also prove useful for training young pups to swim.

Lined Mountains

The tall mountains run more then just the Oropher territory, they surround almost the entire island, though many dare not go to there tops because of the curse of death. Yet the mountains hold a enchanting presence about them. It has been said that the beautiful goddess Calypsis roamed these mountains before, and when she was slain she left her curse on the cliffs.

Mirky Forest
The forest runs for miles to one end and miles to the next. The sun is barely able to penetrate the thick brush of the trees above but the ground is clear of under growth making it easy to walk through. Small prey lives here and the pack loves this forest a large blanket of fog can at times hover over it making it impossible to leave and many get lost.

Deep Caverns
The Oropher pack has always been one to explore but when they came to the caverns of the unknown they became excited. They explored more and more. They soon found water and magical things. The caverns became very dear to them and they always had a pair of guards to watch the entrance to them. Because if anything was ever to happen to the wolves here they could take shelter in the caverns away from harm.

Screaming Falls
The deep waters that run off the Lined mountains falls down the valleys and off the side of a sharp cliff. The waterfall seems to scream with such force, and the spray is very strong. As the water pours off the tall and sharp rocks it runs through the valley to join the ocean. The Oropher pack loves this place.

Pine Meadow
The small meadow was not something that would be fought over by any outsider that had never been to the heart of the meadow. But for those that had venture through the bright meadow had come to a silent spring of water that ran from the ground. Some said that the island gave the wolves odd colours because of this spring. The water would run over the hills and touched every water source in the island. Though the land is beautiful many secrets lay in this meadow.

The rock stands above the dens that surround it and the odd taste of it gives its name. This rock is for meetings such as for battle or conversation.
