i would just like to make it known that by using the styles

and

#shoutboxcode post2

you can change the alternateing post colors just like in teh main forums, yet have it differ from your main forums.

Yeah also we have it setup so that it alternates between darkred bg and gray text and gray background and darkred text.

colored groups stay colored but plain old members names are the same color as the text by adding an ID to the preffix of the groups.

obviously i'm not telling you what colors to use but saying that you can recolor groups just on the sbox so that they showup.

heres an example. the member ID is in the prefix code of the member group. the span a thing is just to erase the underlines.

#shoutcontent .post1 {background-color: darkred; color: darkgray; text-decoration: none;}
#shoutcontent .post2 {background-color: darkgray; color: darkred;}
#shoutcontent .post2 .member {color: darkred;}
#shoutcontent .post1 .member {color: darkgray;}
#shoutcontent span a {text-decoration: none;}

below is a pic. Korah a female Elite member is purple and her color stays. Me, and admin's color stays as well. but Skittlez color alternates.
