Biology of a Suiken Carrier
Normally Alcohol in a human body is absorbed into the bloodstream after being consumed and then passed onto the liver where it is broken down to be exuded from the body. However for one with the Suiken Bloodline the Alcohol is instead converted into chakra in the liver, which is a much more efficient way of dealing with high alcohol levels.

Any decently strong carrier of the Suiken bloodline will feel refreshed when drinking down their favorite alcoholic beverage, but it goes farther than that. Their body actually breaks down the alcohol to create chakra, helping to recharge and rejuvenate the body.
