"Schoooooool's out for summer!" Koujin cheered as he came dancing towards the tori gate, two duffle bags slung over his shoulders.
"Schoooooool's out forever!
School's been blown to pieces!

No more pencils,
No more boooo-ooks,
No more teacher's dirty loooo-ooooks!"

"You are enjoying this way too much," Kiyoshi complained from seven steps behind his brother.

The elder twin threw a grin over his shoulder. "Can you blame me? We didn't even get a lot of homework to take with us," he said cheerfully. "I can put it off until at least a week before school starts again and have nothing but fun."

"You have nothing but fun anyway," Kiyoshi complained. "It really makes me wonder what Sasaki-kun is going to think when you vanish every night and don't return until four in the morning."

"I think he'll be so weirded out by our bloodline, it won't matter what I do," Koujin said with unnatural sobriety.

Kiyoshi groaned. "You just had to bring that up, didn't you?"

"All I'm saying is, he can either deal with it or get kicked out if he's rude about it. And if I'm right, he'll suck it up and deal with it."

"You'd better be right."

"When will he get here?"

"Soon, most likely. See, there's our chaperon already."

"All right. Here, let me take my bento; you have enough to carry with all your books."

[Sasaki Seiichi]

Seiichi was nervous. He'd packed and repacked his trunk three times, making sure all his robes were folded just so, until it suddenly occured to him that he'd probably need Muggle clothing as well. That wasn't a problem. He had them--dress clothing at least. But he didn't own a single pair of jeans, and he realized that if he was to be hanging out with the twins over break, he'd look terribly overdressed.

Swearing, he pulled his everyday robes back over his head and dropped them onto the floor. He rifled through his belongings until he found a pair of trousers and a shirt near the bottom of the trunk. He glanced at his watch, fearing he was going to be late, as he hastily did the buttons of his shirt. He looked at his reflection in the mirror, shook his head, and unbuttoned the top two buttons. He looked a bit unkempt, but more casual than he otherwise would.

Pointing his wand at the center of the room he ordered, "Pack!" and watched as his belongings flew back into the trunk--and landed in a disorderly pile before the trunk slammed shut. Hell. He didn't have time to fix it now, however. "Locomotor trunk." It levitated two feet off the ground and wobbled a bit, but didn't fall. Satisfied, Seiichi directed it ahead of him, down the stairs of the dormitory and out to the main gate, where the twins were waiting.

"Gomen nasi," he said when he was in earshot. He didn't dare bow, because breaking his concentration would probably cause the trunk to drop, and there was no guarantee he'd get it levitated again.

"Who's that?" he asked, indicating the stranger who was about to join them.

"Glad you could make it, Sasaki," Koujin said cheerfully.

"Do you need some help with your trunk, Sasaki-kun?" the stranger asked politely.

"That's our chaperon, Yama-no-chi-san, the groundskeeper," Kiyoshi explained. "I should tell you, it's going to be a long train ride, but the staff fixed a bento for you, and we do get some breaks."

"So as soon as you're ready, we're being Apparated into a train station," Koujin added.
