It is present-day Japan. Set in the lush forests of the Kyoto countryside, Seireino Uta, "Spirit's Song" schools young Japanese witches and wizards in the arts of magic.

CRAVING YOUR INPUT!!!!

So, now that Odetta is approved, I have no earthly idea how to get her started at Seireino. She's a brand new teacher starting out half-way through the current term (or do I have that wrong?).

Any suggestions?

Well, Koujin could always use a hand in divination, and Kiyoshi's really good at it, so.... I'm sure we could think of something.

As for the headmaster, I've always referred to him, but no one seems to play him.

We could say that the previous divination teacher died or suffered from a sudden illness or had some sort of emergency that called him/her away and Odetta was his/her replacement. You could start the post with an announcement posted on the door to the classroom or something, and then begin Divinaton class that way.

Oh, I like Avi's idea, and Talia's, both. Siobhan would be rather skeptical of Odetta, because she doesn't believe in it (though she does have an American friend who's a diviner. Interesting coincidence.), but she's very polite and would never show it.

(I play both her and Seiichi.)

Ok, so it was proposed that the faculty begin with a post discussing the arrival of a new Divinations teacher. This would require the presence of that nebulous being, the headmaster - therefore, RIKO, I propose you begin it. If you're not sure what to do, I suggest getting in contact with Liz about it.
