Physical Appearance: Long, waist-level black hair with shades of dark violet in her hair once sunlight strikes her locks. Dark blue, saddened eyes staring with a world full of emotions in her eyes. It seems that she always looks indifferent to everyone. She wears black angular glasses, emo-looking, if you will, with a shade on her full lips that shone cutely. Her body is always in something you wouldn’t say fit for a Genin or anything higher than that. In truth, she wears a long-sleeved turtleneck sweater of dark violet and a black miniskirt, as well as black stockings to go with that. Around her neck is a silver cross necklace which she always seems to hold.
Her ears have small heart studs on them, and on her head is a violet hair band. She always seems to look the same in anything, and she seems to look a bit tired, but with a smile. Always with a smile. She has a bubble aura around her that makes people think that she looks too emotional for her own good, but when they find out she actually smiles, that causes their belief on her to be disappear. She’s over 4’6” in height, a bit petite for someone her age, but it suits her good.
Personality: Bubbly, cheerful and unpleasantly childish, people can say she is the epitome of childhood innocence; she is jaded in a sense that her naivete can oftentimes cloud people’s judgment of her. She is also childish and annoying, selfish to a point where she wants to get what she wants but easily makes up for it when she realizes the wrong in how she acts. She has a bit of intellect, but most of it goes into her musical knowledge and playing the violin. She can determine what’s right and wrong (or the big picture of it, anyway.) and can always be counted on for emotional support (except when it’s eating time.) She is a raging chocoholic and will never, ever, forgive you for taking her piece of chocolate cake. If you take her chocolate, you will be decimated. Somehow, I don’t know.
When it is time to eat, Rika does not talk. Rika does not move (except for the chopsticks/fork and spoon being moved) and Rika will not EVER reply. From the time she says “Itadakimasu” to “Oishii desu,” will there be no reply to any question whatsoever. People don’t understand why, but when Rika is asked, she “venerates” the food because she realizes many people out there are starving. She is generous to a fault (Do not ask her for her bar of chocolate, or a part of it. Ever. You understand me?! You will be MAULED.) but that generosity is given to the ones she trusts the most. She opens up to people fairly well and easily trusts; which makes her a little bit gullible.

Kashimashii no Jutsu (It’s Noisy!) (Chakra Cost: 4 for activation, 2 for every post of retention.)
It means "It's Noisy" or "Noisy" in Japanese. It creates a dissonance that is painful to the ear, usable only by a musical instrument. The dissonance of the music depends on the ear sharpness of the one who hears it; it can be very strong or very weak. Those who are hearing-impaired can only feel a tingling sensation in their ears if they find that they are facing someone who uses the jutsu. When a person has clear audio input in his ear, it is actually quite painful (imagine microphone static, at maximum volume.) When a person has something clogging their ears, they can only hear it a bit; not enough to hurt them.
Chinkonkyoku no Jutsu (Requiem) (Chakra Cost: 6)
Requiem is a singular note of sound that reverberates through the air, causing people to be deafened for a few seconds. It is like the sound of silence; more specifically, the sound your ear makes when no one makes noise. An example in real life would be locking yourself in a room without moving. That sound you suddenly hear in your ears after a few moments is what will be the effect. Along with that, a mild headache ensues for the sound heard, until the effect (a mere ten seconds) wears off.

Fighting Style Overview
Not really a good fighter but a supporter of fighters if anything. Although Rika is headstrong and certainly fits the description of some gung ho fighter with a huge weapon twice her size as a weapon, she is really not one of those people. Her melodies tap into emotion and other aspects of the mind to achieve victory; her teammates will be the one to cause the damage while she stays behind to support them. Lullabies and Noises are her true ally, allowing her to use them to full advantage using the weapon she holds. Rika is a bit protective of her friends and teammates, and will usually try her best to protect her friends before doing anything else.
Rika will most likely use her jutsu to put her enemy into a bad state, and then make her teammates do the dirty work. Sort of like a dainty, childish girl with no training in fighting; Rika will oftentimes only do the subtle changes into the enemy’s system for them to be disrupted from concentration through their emotions and then get someone else to beat the crap out of them.
HISTORY
Rika was born to Kazuya Katsushiro and Tanaka Kaori, both killed in a murder to their family. It is still unknown why both were killed; but people saw Rika inside a picnic basket her mother carried to try and hide her, and when they reached the gates of Otagakure no Sato, they dropped their baby before running off. About fifteen kilometers away of the village, Rika’s parents were seen mutilated, both bloody heaps on the floor.
As a child, Rika never really knew her real parents and thought of everyone elderly in her village as her parents. Rika lived with her foster parents (People she knows adopted her) and was raised a good kid by both. Her foster father, Kanagata Ichiro, was an instrument maker for the village. Rika, at the age of four, was given her first violin by her foster-father. He himself was the one who taught Rika, and as a kid, everyone saw the potential in young Rika. One day, she saw young men and women, a few years older than herself, running toward a big building in the middle of the village. She wasn’t sure how to react to that, and instead, found herself facing her foster mother, Kanagata Kyoko.
“Mama, what is that building?” Asked the curious Rika, and Kyoko shook her head and smiled. “You’ll know soon enough.” At age six, a few years ago, she was brought in front of Uchiha Yukino, apparently one of the higher-ups of the Hidden Village of Sound. At that age, she started her formal training as a Genin. And although she was profusely against it as she didn’t like harming other people, (The mere word Ninja confuses her.) she was persuaded by her foster parents.
While growing older, her music became more harmonious through steady training from her parents, both violinists themselves. As she grew older and trained under the Otogakure no Sato’s academy, she became a better user of Sound and became the token instrumentalist; as she was the only one to actually use her instrument fully instead of any other weapon.
When she turned ten, she became drawn to her music, and constantly plays when she is bored. In every aspect of her life, there is a part where her music is in it.
