Reflexion, What has happened to this world?

It was morning, the sun was up in the sky,it was around 10 am. Shadow was walking among the ruins looking at all the sick people that were there. They all knew him. They all him, Lia, Naxo and over all Ragnas their leader. "I trulu cannot belive that this is all that is left for all of us...this suffering, this pain, no hope..." thought Shadow as he saw so many poeple lying on the floor, trying to slepp but unable to do so due the pain the was in their bodys. Shadow suddenly stopped and said: " are you gonna keep following me?"

[Lia]

"Oh come on whats the harm?" asked Lia as she came out from behind a column. "you're allways thinking and thinking, you should stop doing that or you should at least share youre thoughts". Lia placed herself in front of Shadow, looked at him straight in eyes and said: "so are you gonna share you're thoughts?" she smiled in the most beautiful and sincere way almost as if the sun was shining through her face.

Shadow blushed as he stared into her eyes. He smiled and laughed. "Thats the reason why Im never gonna leave you guys, you're the only ones that make me laugh". "just so you know I was only thinking about these peoples condition". Shadow and Lia felt someone approaching. They turned around to se Naxo coming towards them while he was eating a piece of bread.

Naxo looked at both of them in a non caring way as he ate his piece of bread. Having his mouth full he said:" I would offer you guy a piece but Im gonna believe you really REALLY dont want some cause I dont want to share". Naxo finished eating the bread and smiled. He than realized Shadow and Lia were looking at him in freaked out way. "What? I dont like sharing...wait, wait a moment were you two having an intimate conversation?" Naxo asked trying to contain his laughter.

[Lia]

Lia blushed and said: " brother what the hell is wrong with you? we were not having an intimate conversation!!!" as she this, her face turned red like tomato. Lia realized this because Shadow and naxo were looking now at her in a really freaked out way. "uh, uh see now you got me mad!! and I only turn red when Im mad not because of anything else". Lia said this trying to cover for her little slip. She turned to Shadow: " what??!!

Shadow looked at Lia and then looked at Naxo: "What do you whant me to say?!!" "um uh, Naxo we were not having an intimate conversation!!! Why do you allways have to make the same stupid assumption?!!"

Naxo looked at both of them and how nerveous they got. He laughed and laughed, it was way too funny, not to say obvious that they liked each other. "Tell me S how am I not suposed to think that everytime I come near you guys if , my sister allways turns red and you never know what to say? JAJAAJ" "Anyways, lets go check out was Ragnas is doing". They all walked towards the ruins and entered the main lobby, whent up the stairs into the second floor in the biggest room left the deteriorated structure. They opened the door to find around ten kids sorounding Ragnas and some other kid. They were playing chess. The ten kids were looking in the most curious way, it seemed the game was almost finished.

Ragnas looked really concentrated. He didnt move nor flinch. It seemed he was about to win the game against the kid named Luca. Luca was very serious too. After a moment of silence, everyone looking at them, Luca smiled showing his imcomplete tooth set. "jaajajaj!!! its over big bro!!!" Everyone looked at what Luca was about to move. Ragnas looked at him in a confused way. "Check!!!!" shouted the kid. "Lets see how you get out of this one big B". The kid smiled and waited for Ragnas move. Ragnas smiled and laughed in really childish way. " TAke this !!" he moved his queen killing, Lucas queen...."Check Mate!!". Luaca looked to see if it was true, he was not shure. Ragnas called the referes which were the ten kid around them, all around 5 to 7 years old. They all checked the game and shouted : "Ragnas wins!!" Ragnas laughed in a maniacal way. All of the kid sstarted laughing. "Maybe next time Luca, maybe next time" said Rgnas. "You bet! big B!!" Raganas realized that Naxo, Lia and Shadow were there standing among the kids...

"ok kids keep it moving go with Alpha" said Naxo in a really friendly way. All of the kids looked at him and laughed. They left the room and went the carring room. It was a special, very big room that Lia and Naxo reconstructed for the kids. In this room no sound could come in. The kids could listen to the music they wanted and play with a bunch of toys that Ragnas and Shadow managed to find for them. Alpha is a robot created by Lia to take care of the children. To created him thinking in Alpha of the Mighty Morphin Power ranges. He looked the same and acted the same. They created that room with the sole pourpose of not letting the children hear the fights that so many times Shadopw, Ragnas, Lia and Naxo had to fight defending the ruins.
As soon as the children left, Naxo turned to Ragnas: "So whats up?"

Ragnas smiled. "We have a lot of work to do. Were running out of provitions for everyone, we need to go to a town to collect food." Ragnas turned to Lia:" Lia, what has happened with the research you are suposed to be working on? any achievements? remember that we need results as fast as posible or "they" wont be able to survive due their sickenesess." Ragnas looked very seriously at Lia and waited for her answer.

[Lia]

Lia's smile dissapeared. "I've been a lot of research to try and rediscover the remedy but sadly I've aquired no results at all". Lia was the only person that had managed to confection a remedy for the negative effects of radiation on the human body, but sadly when she used the remedy on herself for some reason the formula for it was erased from her mind...Could it be that desteny had been kind to them but would not be kind to the rest? She had been trying ever since to rediscover the formula but had failed.

"Forgive me it was not my intention to make you feel sad. I know that you've trying you're best, just please dont stop reasearching." Ragnas looked at Shadow, lia and Naxo. "So many things have gone wrong ever since this world became what it is now...It used to be such a beautiful paradise, but mankind just had to go and ruin it. Humans are like a disease, like a poison in this planet...Now they live without pourpose and, as if it wasnt enough, they teach children to live without pourpose too. to kill, to gain power, bastards!! they think that this is all that humans need!! Shadow, Lia and Naxo, we must get ready for the time shall come when we will bring down "the false paradise" and and give birth to atrue paradise for the little sprouts that we now protect..."

"My question is...will we truly be able to bring down New babylon? Roger Beams is no joke, or at least all the power he has is no joke. We must train and re-stock on suplys, this is no joke, this is serious..."

"Well S thats the reason why we have to trying a lot, to make new Babylons fall a reality, we have to trust in our potential as a team kid".

[Lia]

Lias started thinking deply about everything that had happened. Tears started to fall from her eyes. She turned around and left the room saying: "I'm sorry, excuse me". She left the room and went to the balcony of the ruins. It was already dark ouside, the moon had just risen up. She began to cryied and cryied under the beautiful moon light shing upon her.
