Bullet proof vest (soft): Cost: 100$
Vest that absorbs the impact from gun-fired projectiles and explosive fragments fired at the torso. Soft vests made from layers of tightly-woven fibres protect wearers from projectiles fired from handguns, shotguns, and shrapnel from explosives such as hand grenades. |
 |
Ballistic vest (Upgrade): Cost: 150$
Tactical body armor augmented with ceramic or polyethylene plates that provide extra protection to vital areas. These hard armour plates have proven effective against all handgun bullets and a range of rifles. (Must own a bullet proof vest). |
 |
Dragon Skin vest (Upgrade): Cost: 100$
Multiple bullet impacts do not penetrate the titanium/ceramic composite plates, or transfer dangerous energy to the body of the wearer. All other vests or jackets on the market require large metal or ceramic plates be inserted in pockets, in order to defeat rifle and machinegun rounds. Dragon Skin does not, and because it does not, it is truly flexible combat gear. Protection is built up with dozens of small composite plates, arranged like the overlapping scales on a reptile. These plates not only defeat armour piercing bullets, but spread the staggering force of impact across the vest surface. The soldier does not even suffer bruising, as with older Kevlar vests. (Must own a ballistic vest). |
