Name
The first and last name of your character. Add pronunciation if you'd like.

Nickname
What your character prefers to be called- not required if your character just goes by their first name.

Gender
It may seem obvious to you- but make it more so.

Age
Your Character can be anywhere between 14 and 20.

Element
Whatever Element your character is applying for (in case you post in the wrong place so we can move it)

Magic Level
Until you're Activated- this is 0. Once you are activated, it's a 1 until you pass your first test. Once you do that, you're a level 2- keep track of this so it's easy to tell what level you are.

Appearance
Their physical appearance- eye color, hair color & length, clothing, build, skin color, and any defining marks they might have (scars, etc.). Also include what kind of clothes they generally wear- keeping in mind this is Medieval fantasy. No jeans and t-shirts, sorry. Also- remember that your character can't have dyed their hair before coming to Sahy, so no unnatural
colors please. (And no, they can't be born with unnatural colors either)
Edit: If anyone cares, height you can base off of height nowadays. I've found a site that shows that, in the middle ages, the height wasn't all that off of ours: http://historymedren.about.com/b/a/112443.htm

Personality
What kind of person are they? How do they react to strangers, friends, superiors, inferiors, etc? Are they overly prejudiced or open to the point of naivety? Mention anything you can think of to give people an idea of who your character is.

History
This is what explains how your character became who they are. Mention all important influences or any large events in their life. Also, try to mention why they want to be the kind of mage they are in here if you want- maybe they want to be a water because when they were 5 they went to the beach for the first time…
Mention their family, too. Did they grow up with loving or abusive parents? Did they die and the kid then got shunted off? What? How about siblings- were they only child, oldest, or youngest?
