Lagonae walked into the bar and draped her cape over a stool at the counter. Sitting down, she ordered the strongest drink she could handle. She'd need it tonight.

She thought back. Twenty years ago today she fled from the arms of her very mother.

Lagonae tried her best to shake off the sick feeling she had at the pit of her stomach and chugged down her concoction as soon as it was poured.

It was going to be a long night.

[Rio]

Darth Desaeva carefully set her Sith Infiltrator ship down on the landing pad. She stepped down the ramp and scanned the horizon. There was a holocron somewhere on this planet, and she needed to find it.

In the background, Desaeva could hear music. She thought about stopping in for a drink, but wondered what kind of stir her Sithly appearance would cause. But then... did she care? She turned on her heel and strode toward the bar.

[Tariel]

Lagonae looked out of the corner of her eye as what looked like a sith strode proudly into the bar and ordered a strange drink.

Keeping her composure, Nae touched her hand to her blaster, preparing for anything this person had in store.

[Rio]

Desaeva sat back on the barstool, leaning against the counter. She took a sip of her drink, and noticed the odd looks. The bartender strode over and confidently asked her to leave her sword by the door. Desaeva glared at him through her mask, and he quickly changed his mind and shuffled away. Desaeva grinned, though no one could see it through the mask, and set her feet up on the barstool next to her.

[Tariel]

Nae eyed the newcomer cautiously.

'What brings you here?' She asked, sitting beside her, hand still on her blaster.

[Rio]

Desaeva glanced at the Jedi out of the corner of her eye. "I'm looking for something," she said, taking another sip of her drink.

[Tariel]

'How descriptive of you.' Lagonae said, smirking and taking a sip of her own.

[Rio]

Desaeva glances at Nae's robes. "You're a Jedi, you should know a thing or two about being cryptic. The masters never say what they mean, eh?"

(OOC: Sith Lords say "eh"?)

[Tariel]

'It has been my experience that nobody, whether Jedi, Sith, or none of the sort, says what they mean.' Nae replied, leaning against the counter.

[Rio]

"Another charachteristic of a Jedi: mindless philosophy. I don't have time for riddles, Jedi." Desaeva looked Nae in the eye. "Mind if I ask what someone like you is doing on this backwater planet?"

[Tariel]

'A puppetmaster with no time for riddles. There's a shock.' Nae said sarcastically, her voice hardening. 'My parents were born here. My father died here. My mother was consumed here. Do you find it strange that I should visit and have a drink?'

[Rio]

"Stopping by a planet to revisit bad memories, which probably stirs up all sorts of emotions. Yes, I do wonder why a Jedi would be here."

Desaeva turned back to her drink, watching the other customers.

"So we've established that this is an important place for you, yes. But I get the feeling you're here for more than the ale."

[Tariel]

Nae laughed softly, and aquired a far off look in her eyes. 'You observe much, Sith.'

Chugging the rest of her drink down quckly, she met eyes with Desaeva. 'I am not like most Jedi's you may have heard of. Emotions are unavoidable. Whoever thinks differently is fooling themselves. As for why I am here... I am also looking for something, Puppetmaster.'

[Rio]

Desaeva laughed quietly. "Yes, I see you're not like most I've met. Maybe you'll be less cryptic than the others.... what exactly are you looking for?"

[Tariel]

Nae grinned slyly. 'If you want to know, you'll have to find out.' She said, slinging on her cape and striding out of the bar.
