SSBBL was founded based on the idea to have an exciting and fun yet competetive Smash Bros. Brawl league and ladder enviroment. With that being said, it is the intention of the staff and rules to keep it that way. Read through the rules and don't try to find loopholes or abuse them in any way, just understand what they mean and abide by them. Also be aware that these rules are subject to change at any time as seen fit by SSBBL staff. We just ask that you, in turn, respect the rules and follow them.
Final Destination / ...
The player who starts the game/initiates the challenge is responsible to determine the host prior to teams being announced.
THIS IS REQUIRED. THOSE WHO DO NOT ADHERE TO THE RULES WILL BE WARNED .75.
All modes are allowed ITEMS/ITEMS SB/NO ITEMS/NO ITEMS SB
IHL players are entitled to just one name in the league. You may not share an account or have more then one forum name. If you are caught multi-accounting, you will be given 50 warns.
Players are supposed to pick Smash Bros. Whoever host must pick their smash bro first after that pick the other team must pick their 2 smash bros and the host team must pick the last smash bro.
The game can be saved at any time, just give fair warning. A game can be remade from a save at anytime, UNLESS ANY of the following has occured since the save took place:
1. A total of 8 deaths in the game.
2. A total of 10 minutes has passed since the save.
3. A rax has fallen (unless an even number fell for both teams)
When a player drops and a remake is out of the picture (game must go on), the team may:
1. The dropper's hero can be used no matter what
2. The items on the dropped hero must stay on the hero or be sold on the hero ("teamsold").
3. All consumables can be "pooled" off of the dropped hero. This does NOT include other regen items, ONLY consumables (clarity, TP scroll, flask, tango, NOT bottle, etc.)
Each team is allowed a total of four minutes of pauses during a game. Do not abuse pauses (spamming them when someone is microing a tower, for example). Never unpause someone else's pause unless given permission to do so. Always pause/unpause with a warning/countdown.
Smash bro Restrictions:
no Smash bro restrictions
The exploitation of bugs will not be tolerated. If a player is found exploiting a bug, the issue will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Cheat of any kind is not tolerated. If caught cheating, it is an automatic shitlist. In regards to maphacking, if you believe a player in your game could be cheating you may ask them to take a SS (screenshot). The game must first be paused then YOU AND THE ACCUSED must:
You DO NOT need convert the SS. Attaching the SS via .tga is highly accepted/recommended.
After the game, both the accused and the accuser must post withing 15 minutes
Failure to post within:
15 minutes = 1 day timeban
30 minutes = 3 day timeban
an hour = 15 day timeban + unvouch.
