Captain's Office

~Jason's office is sparsely decorated, with several small trinkets from his career littering the office.~

Lieutenant Jessie Ryan walks up to the Captain's door, his medfile in one hand and a tricorder in the other. *CHIME*

Jason was lying on the couch, still taking in at the moment that he had a full command of his own. "Come in!" He called.

Walking into his office, I stand at attention. "Lieutenant Jessie Ryan reporting in for duty Captain.... and also for Ships medical business."

"Ah, yes, Doctor Ryan." Jason swung his legs off the couch so he was sitting up. "I hope it wasn't too unpleasant a trip here, Doc. It can be very lengthy from almost anywhere in the Federation to here."

"The trip was fine Captain, didn't bother me a bit. But, there is something bothering me now."

Jason nods. "Yea, sure, what'd you need, Doc?" He asks, brushing a hand through his hair.

"Captain, your medical file must be updated with a current physical." I said in a straightforward manner.

"I'm in perfect physical health; take it straight from the source." Jason grinned, and stood up. He went behind his desk, sitting in the chair set there.

I grin slightly, raising my brow. "I'm following Starfleet protocols Captain, and by regulations it's my job to determine if that's the truth. Now we can either do it right here and now, or you can schedule your phsyical."

"I'll come in later." Jason says, looking down at a padd and waving dismissively.

"Captain, I want a set schedule before I leave your office..and don't make me pull rank." I said sternly. I was not a doctor who could be bluffed.

The side door opened, and the goofy Trill creeped in. "Guess who?!" She said, her voice alive with joy.

I roll my eyes and shake my head and state firmly. "I expect to see you in my sickbay in the morning Captain, first thing. If you don't come in, I'll come after you."

"God help me." Jason chuckled, and stood up. The two friends embraced. "Olis, this is the Doc, Jessie Ryan."

Olis smiles, and extends her hand. "Lieutenant Olis Neemar, chief of security. It's a pleasure, Doctor."

"It's my pleasure Lieutenant Neemar," I respoond with a smile. "Perhaps you can get the Captain to come in for his physical which is three months late." I state with a frown and a dirty look at the Captain.

"Please, call me Olis." She said with a chuckle. "And Jason, a physical? Please, the man's healthy as a symbiont."

"Healthy or not Olis, it is part of Starfleet Regulations. All officers and enlisted personnel must have a physical once a year... and the Captain has yet to have his." I say with a raised brow. "And I intend to see that they're followed."

Jason rolls his eyes. "All right...how about the day after tomorrow, Doctor?"
