Rules
[i]Hello! Welcome to Rifts! We hope that you enjoy your RP'ing experience, and to ensure this, we have some simple rules that we hope you will follow. Failure to follow the rules can result in a warning, and multiple warnings can result in a termination of your account.[/i]
Forum Rules
[*]No Swearing - Swearing at members OOC is prohibited, especially is that swearing is intentional verbal Abuse. Swearing IC is allowed, but only mildly, please do not over-do it. Swearing at staff or other members is not aloud, and doing so will result in a warning, or possible more.

[*]No Text Chat - This means typing abbreviated words such as "YH" or "W/E" in character. This is not allowed. Abbreviated words are allowed OOC, but please do so lightly.
[*]Correct Grammar - I understand that it's not always possible, and sometimes people forget, but I request that you please attempt to use correct grammar.
[*]No Spamming - If you post somthing once - such as an application, please only do so once. Constantly posting the same thing over and over may result in ALL the posts being deleted.
[*]Follow the IC Rules - They are as much part of the board as anything else, and failure to follow them are the same.
[*]This is a rule strictly aimed at Members. If you want somthing, or want to ask a question, please do not PM an Admin over and over. Please use the HELP section. If you have a personal problem, you may PM the Admin, but otherwise please do not feel that by PMing us, you will get what you're after faster.
[*]In all RP threads, you must use the character you created in your Profile. There can only be ONE character per account. You are allowed to make alternate accounts.
[*]Wait patiently if it is someone Else's turn to speak or post something. Do not continue on without that person, sending constant Pm's and pestering staff.
[*]You may only send Personally messages via PM to staff. All other questions much be posted in the help Forum. All Pm's that are not for personal reasons will be deleted.
[*]This is a non-canon roleplay, so there are no canon characters.
IC Rules
[i]This rules apply for when you are RP'ing in character. All the Forum Rules still apply.[/i]

[*]No God-Modding - This means killing off somebody's character without their permission. You may not control, or say somebody's character does somthing without them giving you the right too, even if that other character is your alt.
[*]No Text talk - Read Forum Rules.
[*]Tense - Incorrect: Maya walks into the bar and orders a drink.
- Correct: Maya walked into the bar, and ordered herself a drink
[*]Other Characters - They belong to their owners, whether their owner created them or adopted them. Do not play other people's characters. It is God-Modding, and that is not allowed. [See God-Modding]
[*]Post Count - We have a post count of 50 words. This means that you must not post bellow 50 words. You may post as much as you wish, but to ensure you have enough content in your RP's for others to follow, 50 words is required.
[*]OOC - When making a comment that comes from you rather than your character, please label it as OOC (out of character) OOC posts should be attached to an in-character post, usually at the end of it. Someone else may reply to the OOC portion of your post as well as the IC; however, no thread unless started by one of us should be strictly OOC. In some cases, a single OOC post explaining a leave of absence or something similar is acceptable, but if it becomes a conversation, you will be asked to continue it in private.
[*]Roleplay Conduct - No flaming. If you have a problem with someone on the list, settle it privately. If you cannot settle it privately, bring it to one of us and we will do our best to settle it for you only if you have tried every possible way to settle it yourself and still failed. We are not your mother, so don't come crying to us because little Johnny's Vampire hit your Human. If the problem is genuine, and we cannot do anything, one or both parties may be dealt with. We would rather not do this, so please don't let disagreements get out of hand, however, a character may not presume they hit you, so please inform them of that before rushing to us.
[*]Player Knowledge - If your character is not told somthing about the other character, you may not assume you already know. You must wait until the other character tells you this information, before your character may achually know it.
[*]Actions - Please, to avoid confusion, could everyone type character speech with a [ " ] Symbol, at the beginning and end of each speech. If your character is thing, Please use [i]Italics[/i], and possibly use the [ ' ] Symbol - though this is not mandatory.
