Step One
Our first stop on our Domhanian tour will be the Rules. I know it sounds boring and there are probably things you would much rather do, but it is very important that you read the rules so you know your limits and you can avoid things that may result in punishment.

No one likes to get in trouble, and the administrators do not like dealing out punishments either. So, take a few minutes and read the Rules.

While we are here let us take a moment to look over the Signature & Avatar Regulations. It is not mandatory but it is highly suggested that you at least skim over the regulations just to be sure you don’t end up breaking them.

Suggestion 1
Now that you have read the Rules of Domhan why not stop by the Random Conversation forum and introduce yourself to the members. This is a very good way to allow the existing community to welcome you and perhaps get to know you a little bit.

There is no need to worry, Domhan is full of friendly faces that love to see new people coming around here. Well, what are you waiting for? Introduce yourself.

Step Two
Wait a moment now. Our tour is not yet complete. You can not run off and create a character just yet. Before then we have to walk you through one of the most important places of Domhan.

Domhan’s Information Center can almost be considered the heart of Domhan itself. It is what makes this spectacular world what it is. It is here that all the important information about Domhan can be found within the Information Library. Go ahead and take a look.

There is a lot of information there right? Do not fret my dear new member. I know it may seem overwhelming at first to see so much but I am not going to leave you there to decipher what should be read first.

I will walk you through it.

The first place we need to stop in the Information Center is the Table of Contents. It is here that all of Domhan’s information is gathered and organized into one list, to make navigating the information center much easier. Not to mention it makes things look much neater.

From here you can choose what you want to read first. You do not have to read everything at once, but it is suggested you read everything at some point.

What should be read first at this point depends on what you are planning from here on. Mainly what you may be planning for your character. Be sure to check in on the Information Center from time to time since new things are added over time.

Suggestion 2
I am sure you have some questions right about now. It is normal, so do not worry. Before asking any questions you may have, please direct your attention over to the site’s FAQ. Here is where frequently asked questions are placed for future reference for other members.

Did the FAQ not have your question? Not to worry, you are fully allowed to ask your questions. You can either post your question up in the Questions, FAQ & Other Helpful Things forum, or you can ask one of our Administrators or Moderators directly. Whatever you are comfortable with.

The Admins of Domhan encourage you to ask any questions you may have.

Step Three
We are finally here. The place you have been waiting for.

Now that you have read the rules and some of Domhan’s information (and possibly even introduced yourself to the site) we can start the fun of creating a character. Do not worry, I am not going to leave you just yet.

First off you might want to start thinking about what you want your character to be.

There are many occupations that Domhanians can acquire and if you aren’t sure about one ask an admin first. Here is an Occupations & Rider Ranks thread to show you some of the Domhanian occupations.

Now, before we jump into the character profile here is a little introduction to character creating and a few tips as well. Character Creating.

Suggestion 3
Sometimes it can help to look over already existing character profiles as well. So if you like go ahead and do that since it can help you get a feel for what we are looking for in characters.

Also, before I go ahead and let you loose on the character profile template I have something that might be of help when creating your character. Character Naming since after all, naming your character is very important for multiple reasons.

Finally here it is. The Character Profile Template that you have been looking forward to for so long now. You will more than likely need to return the Information Center to completely fill this template out, so don’t be discouraged if you can not simply jot things down quickly.

And without further ado I present to you the Character Posting forum where you will post your character once he/she is completed. All you need to do is post the profile in the main forum (i.e. NOT any of the subforums ) and a moderator or administrator will read the profile to be approved. Once approval is given to your character the profile will be moved to the proper subforum by an admin or mod and you will be able to being role-playing.
