    In Dreams
    Your character must wake up from sleeping and find that things just aren't right with their world. How you choose to make it known to them that they aren't in their own home anymore, but in Silent Hill instead is up to your own creativity. But! Once the thread is over, your character must wake up in another area with the dull fog surrounding them as though they were dreaming after crawling through one of the portals that are scattered throughout Silent Hill. (These portals are listed under each Area Map for their designated locations.)

    A Connection To Heather
    For some reason, your character has some form of connection to Heather Mason. Whether it be through her father, or your life/death plays a role in her own. How this comes together will play itself out in the end, and only your roleplays can determine your fate. You can walk out of any door and be in any area, but when you're summoned, wherever you are will slowly peel away and become the terrible grated floors of Silent Hill. The only way back is to find the Halo Of The Sun symbol (the glowing red symbol from the third game used as a save point) and you will instantly be brought back into Silent Hill's lighter realm upon touching it.

    Claudia believes that by summoning you, it will somehow benefit her and aid her in bringing 'God' into physical existence. How you play your threads out will determine your fate in the end, and whether or not you succumb to the dark side and fight in 'God's' army of demons. You are summoned by passing out (and this can be wherever) and waking up in Silent Hill. The only way out of the Other World realm and back into the dismal fog is the portals scattered throughout the town. (These are listed in the Area Maps section under each area map itself)

    Town Summoning
    Whether it be by letter or by force, you are somehow summoned to Silent Hill and trapped there indefinitely, with your only relief being in the foggy, semi-brighter version of the town. How the town's Other World is revealed to your character is up to your own creativity, but at the end of each thread, you must exit the area you're in with the town's darker realm lifting and the fog taking it's place once more.
