It was the year 2010. The Government had fallen. An elite secret organization infiltrated every level of society and destroyed each government from within. They call themselves the Aeuitas Equitas or The AE. They gave the people "freedom" from the government's ruling hand and destroyed the law.
Crime and corruption rule the city. There can be no justice where there is no law. Among the chaos, Brisbane has settled into some semblance of normalcy. People learned to look away from the corruption and keep quiet; because in this town the brave end up dead. Safety is a thing of the past in this hell.
But there are those who still fight; they are known as The Service. Tired of living in corruption, these are the people who try to bring order by destroying the AE. Though not at all Heroes, they're fed up with living under the AE.
On the streets of Brisbane a silent war is taking place. Everyone knows about the two sides, but no one knows who the members are neither side is free from corruption.

Hey everyone, take a read through the information section. There's been some updates, specifically the parts about the Family. This division is the newest part of Rec. Enjoy!

.The Aeuitas Equitas]]
The AE members are responsible for the murder and collapse of Brisbane’s once modern government system. Their resentment towards the government was so strong; they felt people had a right to live freely instead of in a gilded cage. The government in their eyes did not bring justice, so they adopted their name, Aeuitas Equitas – meaning justice in Latin. Now, any who try to rise in power are quickly culled, for The People should remain free. Freedom does not have a price to high to pay for the AE. Murder, torture, whatever is necessary will be done.
Secrecy is the AE’s greatest weapon. They lurk in every level of society from school teachers to the homeless. Each AE member has two equals that they correspond with. This makes estimating the exact number of AE members difficult. Even among the AE however there are those who are not above corruption. Some members of the AE do not wish for the freedom of the people but instead would take power for themselves now that the government has been demolished. Talk of such treasonous members of the AE is of course only rumors however…at least that’s what any AE member will tell you.
However, with the rise of The Service, the AE have a new threat to deal with. The Service is likely to become the next form of government and the AE could not stand for that to occur. The freedom of the people must be protected.

The Service formed a few months after the collapse of the government. The Service has become the closest current functioning form of policing in society. The members of the Service came to recognize that some form of law is necessary for a society to survive. Service members do not wish to live in a world of crime and corruption which has been on a steady rise since the fall of the government. The service members have varying degrees of belief about what kind of government should be reinstated exactly, however it is a common agreement among them that the current state of society is not a proper representation of justice as the AE believes.
The Service members operate in a similar amount of secrecy to the AE. Service members often have some form of hierarchy that requires some members to have more power then others; this is trait the AE resent. Secrecy is required due to the fact that the AE would not hesitate to kill one of them if they were discovered as a Service member.

The Family was founded years after the fall of the government. Their sympathies do not lie with either side; rather they are concerned with protecting their own. The Family will accept individuals who have forsaken their ties to the AE or Service, so long as they swear an oath to protect fellow family members without hesitation.
The sacred law among the Family is protection of their own. By joining the family, an individual can gain the security of protection. Any harm that comes to a family member is taken as a personal insult to all members, and revenge is strictly enforced. Swift retribution is their principle and strength through unity is their motto.
Structured like the mafia, the leader keeps his identity restricted to select family members. Indiscretions within the family are subject to his judgment. Secrecy is not a high priority among other family members. In Brisbane, it is common knowledge that to harm a family member, is a sentence of death so family members are often not shy about their status. The People of Brisbane are viewed with compassion by the family and assumed to be innocent bystanders who are not to be pulled into their affairs.

The People are the collective title of the residences of Brisbane. It is assumed that The People are not members of either party, rather they are the residences who choose to remain neutral and try to avoid the violence between the opposing sides.
