It was the year 2010. The Government had fallen. An elite secret organization infiltrated every level of society and destroyed each government from within. They call themselves the Aeuitas Equitas or The AE. They gave the people "freedom" from the government's ruling hand and destroyed the law.
Crime and corruption rule the city. There can be no justice where there is no law. Among the chaos, Brisbane has settled into some semblance of normalcy. People learned to look away from the corruption and keep quiet; because in this town the brave end up dead. Safety is a thing of the past in this hell.
But there are those who still fight; they are known as The Service. Tired of living in corruption, these are the people who try to bring order by destroying the AE. Though not at all Heroes, they're fed up with living under the AE.
On the streets of Brisbane a silent war is taking place. Everyone knows about the two sides, but no one knows who the members are neither side is free from corruption.

personality;; Make no mistake about it, despite her appearance, Naida is not someone to be easily pushed aside. An extremely strong woman, both in body and mind, she does not allow anyone to push her down and has no problem pushing back if the need arises. Fierce and passionate, it is clear in everything she says and does that she has supreme confidence in herself. Naida for the most part is a calm and level-headed woman, but can be vicious if the situation instigates it.She is, unfortunately easily offended, and is quick to anger. A fiery temper rests within her, and she can be terrifying when set off. But she truly likes to picture herself to be the embodiment of don’t get mad, get even. She will only truly lash out at someone if they try to cross her, or dare say something she may not like. She has little patience for anyone who sulks or whines and will have no problem telling them to ‘snap out of it or else’.
Naida for the most part is hardly the socializing type. She much prefers to quietly observe those around her, sizing them up. She finds relentless prattle exhausting and actually has been known to tell people to shut up when it gets to be too much for her. She has a bad habit of arguing a point if she knows she’s right and won’t let the matter drop until all agree with her. She also has a way of twisting things around so she wins, and rarely do people realize she’s even done it.
Stubbornness also seems to be a big part of her. She does not give up easily, and Naida can at times come off as a manipulative woman who will do just about anything to get what she wants. At times she comes off as very determined and she honestly does not care who she hurts to get what she wants or to do what she needs to get done. She learned at an early age how to play people to get what she wants. She knows the looks to give and the right lines to say. If she wants something, or needs to get something done - she's not going to pout and hope for the best... No, she knows that if she wants something - she's either got to get it herself or influence someone to get it for her.
``the plot..
parents;;Timothy and Cecilia Matthews siblings;; older brother Andrew other family;; Grandmother Julia Matthews pets;;At the moment she doesn't have time for a pet, but she would in fact love to get some Beagles at some point.
opinion of family;;Despite her lack of closeness with people in general, Naida is in fact very close with her family. She's perhaps closest with her brother Andrew. One day she hopes that she can find the type of closeness she has with her family with someone else, but she's not holding her breath. She loves her family dearly and would do just about anything for them.
``the script..
happiest memory;;Obtaining her degree and realizing the person she coud become. worst memory;;Being teased throughout her teenage years - kids can be so mean!
personal history;; Timothy and Cecilia Matthews grew up together in New Plymouth, New Zealand and to be quite honest, Ana Cecilia paid no mind to Timothy while they were growing up despite the fact that their parents were good friends. Shortly after Cecilia finished High School, she went off to attend University in Auckland wanting to major in Interior Design. She really had no plans on coming back to New Plymouth because she had her sights set on Melbourne or possibly even New York City. Though by chance she met up with Timothy at a friend’s party while she was home visiting for the summer. When the two started dating, neither expected anything to really come from it. It was just supposed to be a fun ‘End of the summer’ kind of fling. They enjoyed each other’s company – but neither had any illusions of being madly in love with the other. Towards the end of their ‘fling’ Cecilia found out she was pregnant with Andrew.
Cecilia’s side of the family were very upset with the news, all their hopes and dreams of their daughter going further in life seemed to have died the moment Cecilia and Timothy announced to both sides of the family that they were expecting a child. No one in her family was as upset as Cecilia, because she knew that she would have to marry Timothy in order to raise their child in the faith and that she’d have to give up her dreams of Melbourne and New York because Juan made it clear that there was no way he was moving to another country.
The two were married a short time later, and despite her fears of being pregnant and newly married, Cecilia soon fell into the role of supporting her husband while he worked to finish his internship at the university hospital, and finishing up her own degree. She didn’t mind the fact that they had to live in a small apartment, because she got to fix it up how she liked it (and they’d end up moving into a bigger house down the road – she just knew it). It was hard though - with her struggling to keep up with her studies and her husband’s long hours. But the couple somehow managed.
Andrew’s birth added a new aspect to their lives. Thankfully Cecilia had finished her courses shortly before her son’s birth, because she wasn’t exactly prepared for the added stress of a baby. She loved her son to pieces, but found it a bit trying at times when he’d begin to start crying and she wouldn’t be able to get him to stop. Thankfully Timothy’s mother, Julia, stepped in, and helped the young mother adjust to being a new mother.
Andrew was a good child, quiet though at times very serious. He loved to follow his Mother and Grandmother around, but he didn’t exactly sure what to make of his father – who was becoming wrapped up in his medical career. He was three when Cecilia found out she was pregnant again, and for the first time in Juan’s little life, he was very excited. The idea of having a little brother or a little sister was the most exciting thing he could ever imagine and would spend hours talking to his Mother and Grandmother about what he was going to teach his new sibling.
When Naida was born, everyone seemed to instantly bond with the baby girl. A few months after Naida’s birth, Cecilia decided it was time to start working and she and Timothy asked Julia to help with the children’s upbringing. Over the next few years, it wasn’t uncommon to see Naida chasing after her older brother, thinking that she could do everything that he could. She was a bright, happy and very energetic girl, and seemed to have a smile for everyone she stumbled across.
Even though Naida was about 4yrs younger than Javier, he never once told her to get lost, even when it wasn’t cool to have a little sister tagging along with him and his friends. He kind of looked at her as one of the boys, and this thought stayed the same until the time that his sister hit her teen years and his friends began showing a sort of interest in her.
Both Julia and Cecilia wanted all the best for Naida and enrolled her in all sorts of different things over the years. Though dance was probably the one thing she’d be the most grateful for. Sometime Naida wondered why her mom pushed her so much to do well in dance but in the end she figured it was merely because she saw how much Naida loved it and wanted her to excel in it.
Once she hit her teen years, Naida started going through a gawky stage where she was too tall, skinny, had horrid braces and not really all that feminine yet. It was still obvious that one day she would grow into her body and would more than likely be a very pretty woman, though it wasn’t something that Naida herself believed. During those awkward years, Naida withdrew from hanging out so much with her brother and instead found comfort in books. Her brother’s friends seemed to enjoy teasing the awkward young woman, though Andrew would leap to her defense once it became evident that his sister wasn’t finding it all so funny.
She was about sixteen when she met someone that would seem to change her life. She met Derek Bliss while he did a tour through New Zealand. Their meeting was one of chance; a gawky teenage girl sitting in a park reading a book of Robert Frost poetry and the older male happening upon her and asking what she was reading. Nothing of romantic interest on his part, but Naida almost instantly developed a crush on the handsome man with the Italian accent. The two developed a friendship over time, and Derek gradually began to get Naida to be more open with her thoughts and feelings (though she of course never uttered a word of her crush on him) and also got her to show him the more interesting sights in New Zealand. Though of course the time came when he had to leave and Naida was secretly heartbroken.
She finished her schooling without incident, though through her school years she watched the ‘pretty’ girls and saw how they behaved. She secretly hated them though at the same time was jealous of all that they were able to do and what they were able to have because of their looks. She of course had to develop somewhat of a personality to compensate for her lack of ‘good’ looks, and during school became known as the girl who read a lot, was quiet but had a mighty temper when she was provoked. It worked for her, and she’s the same way still to this day – though she now has looks that she’s not afraid to use to her advantage.
After her schooling was over, she decided that she wanted to go to Auckland University and obtain a degree in Master of Library and Information Sciences. It obviously wasn’t what her Mother or Grandmother had thought she would do, they had actually thought she would go into dance - but her family supported her decision. Right before she left, her braces came off and it was almost as if a completely different girl had taken Naida’s place. Somewhere along the line, she had blossomed into an attractive woman.
At Uni, she made new friend, loved her classes and over the next couple of years continued to blossom. It only took her about two years to obtain her degree and once she did, she started working at the University Library. She worked hard, didn’t cause waves and proved herself to be a trusted and diligent employee.
Recently she had applied for a job in Australia and was quite surprised when she got the job for a Librarian at Brisbane’s City Library. She packed her stuff up; said goodbye to her family and without another thought went off to a city, that in her opinion was seriously lacking in the organizational department. But, she hopes for the best and is actually quite excited about her new job.
