What do you think of?
I'm pretty sure that
Naruto, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, and Sailor Moon
automatically pops into some of ur heads x3
My friend and I recently began debating bout the popular vs. the non-popular animes xD
**What makes them so popular? Do you like them?
Popular anime these days, do you ever think that they're over-rated, or over-used? What about them attracts you? ^^
Personally, I like em ^^ I think that the reason that ppl love em are becuhs the plots are new and attention-grabbing x3

Hmmm... Anime that everyone watches?
I would say Naruto and Bleach for sure. Eeeeeveryone knows about those. I would say love hina as well. A lot of people would know it when you say love hina.
What makes them popular?Do you like them?
I guess art is the biggest thing yeh? and of course if the story is unique.
Yeh I guess I like them but only to a certain extent. (I gave up on the naruto and bleach anime since I couldnt wait)

for the anime-people world-
ummm....evangelion, sm, dbz, ranma 1/2, kenshin, and miyazaki's works...the list continues.
for the 'others'-
the most well known would have to be sm, dbz, miyazaki, and pokemon.
and why do people watch it?
well, its popular for a reason, whether it be art, storyline, fav filmaker, ext. there is *something* that is there to make it interesting and lasting.
(just looked back through and relized that most of my "popular" ones are older...i'm so old. ^.^) hehe

I think that it's becuz it started out interesting even tho it got boring sumtimes...
The story wuz pretty good and i got hooked onto watching them...

miyazaki films:spirited away, princess monoke, howl's moving castle, ext. (i put this here b/c since it's being released by Disney-more people know of these!)
Neon Genisis Evangelion- its older but most people in the anime world know/seen this. but maybe its too old for you guys?....ehhh.

Ah, Sailor Moon and Naruto... Never liked Bleach. Oh and Pokemon, InuYasha and Fruits Basket. ... The classics I guess,  Naruto and Bleach are too popular for their own good (since Naruto is getting really annoying, and both are too long).  Fruits Basket was really cute, Pokemon went in the tv, Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon too.  |
