Mmm. Mostly it's a hobby. I usually buy three or so manga titles at a time. I collect them and sometimes sell them on ebay or whatever when I've finished the series. However, if it's a really brilliant title it does become a bit of an obsession as I wait for the next volume to come out.

It varies for the person, but for me it's definetly an obsession.  When someone goes to sleep at 2 every night to finish a series and do hw, it's a bit scary ^.^" |

An hobby ? i think it was one 2 or 3 years ago, now it's an obcession XD (each year at Japan Expo in Paris i spend more than 200€ in manga lol ... So not an hobby anymore ^^")

i guess for me it is somewhere in between, sometimes its really fun reading it
but sometimes it kinda gets exciting and i can't wait to finish reading till the last
chapter.

It's an obsession once i find a really good manga that has several releases (like 50+). Then i'm a hopeless cause because i will dedicate all my free time to it! After a series of disappointing mangas, i kind of quit reading for a week or something so i guess i'm not totally obsessed
