For me it was a year ago when I finished watching the latest episodes of Bleach and Naruto and just couldn't wait to see what would be next now I prefer the mangas over the animes and my favorite genre is of course shoujo lol.........now I'm addicted and am worried that I will run out of stories to read.

I'm not really sure actually... I was just looking around my school library one day and noticed a couple sitting on the bookshelves, and I read the back of one and it looked interesting so I started reading it. (I don't remember which series it was though... this was like 5? years ago I think..)
Anyways, after that the library started getting more and I got really into it so I started looking for them online.

After reading Detective Conan and Ranma 1/2 XD
That's the first ever manga that I'd read and still got hooked with until now 288.gif
Only then did I start to search for other manga , start to watch anime , attending manganime convention and such XD

I started reading manga when I was 8,9, or 10, I forget. My cousin was reading a shoujo manga online that back then, I thought had great art, but now I'm having second thoughts and I happened to notice her. I read with her, and I was enlightend 282.gif Afterwards, I researched (yes, researched) how to find other mangas online and found mangaupdates and the rest is history four.gif

Welll -- I'm asian. :D
Despite that fact, I didn't start reading till around my 7th grade in school. It was introduced to me through a friend who'd been drawing and reading manga for quite some time~ Thanks to her (<333Nancy) I got into my manga addiction. Mmm, I later found out that I had alot of cousins who read manga x_x;

When.. I was 3. Inuyasha~
Although I suppose that didn't really count as reading, since I couldn't read yet.
But I looked a the pictures and had my sister explain to me what the characters were saying. XD

Well my cousin told me to go on youtube and look up Lucky Star, so I did and i got really into it! Then I started to buy manga at the book store and here I am now. (after a year of manga-reading and anime-watching)
Oh, I have a bit of the same story as Chibiheaven! *big arrow points to my head and says "Asian girl"*

Much like n_o71605, I also started reading anime because I couldn't wait to see what happened with Naruto and other anime like Special A and Vampire Knight. So, I looked for the manga. 294.gif

Once I stumbled upon Shoujo manga and am hooked. The art is great and the stories are cute. 292.gif

It´s interesting, 'cause when I was younger I used to watch a lot of anime, but then I completely forgot about it, so I spent my primary school as if I´ve never knew about manga or anime. And one day, now that I´m almost 17, my brother came up with a manga and.. ka-bum!! I was back into it!!

I was bored and I ran out of anime to watch. I was very stubborn about not reading manga until late college or after college?
