[Innocence]

We are currently looking for editors. Editors do not need to have previous experience although it would be good if you did. We are also willing to train any editors with potential as long as you know how to use Photoshop. If you would rather be a cleaner or typesetter then please apply for just a cleaner ot typesetter. There are three tests below, please choose which one suits you. Here are the following qualifications for an editor.

If you are an experienced editor, you may show me a sample of you work in place of taking the test.
For new editors, please first read an editing tutorial. I personally recommend http://senbonzakura.kageyoshi.net . Please read the beginner section and once you're comfortable, go for the advanced tutorials too. After reading it, please read the official supplementary guide for RL


For all editors, please make sure to change the mode to Grayscale and also to please resize to Height of 1200px

• Crop and Rotate the pages
  
• Level the pages
  
• Clean the pages [gutters, dirt, and text]
  
• SFX [clean and clone back the areas covered with SFX]
  
• Type the English text in the right place
  
• Make sure that all text is set on Smooth

Cleaners will only do the first 4 and typesetters will only do the last 2. Editors may also have to create the credits page.

The fonts for an editor will be as followed.

• Normal Text: Wild Words [Black 000000]
  
• Flashback Dialogue: Wild Words Italic [Black 000000]
  
• Thoughts in Bubbles: Wild Words Italic [Grey 666666]
  
• Thoughts not in bubbles (in boxes or floating etc): Felt [Grey 666666]
  
• Small Text: Augie [Black 000000]
  
• Handwritten Text: Angelina [Black 000000]
  
• SFX: Any font that is suitable.

Also please remember that if you pass and are accepted all scans sent to the QCer need to be in PSD format.

Indeed sound kind of fun. Mmm..Never tried being an editor before but I can give it a try. Haha, I wouldnt mind to learn how to do it. Need to take the test though. I wanna see if I can do it.
Guess I'll have to download the fonts later b/c I dont remember having those fonts on my computer. Heh, okay. I shall work on it tonight. Gotta go shopping for Father/Birthday's Day in the morning.

Ah! Some of the fonts wouldn’t work. Dont know why. Oh well, so I just BS my way through w/ the editing. Haha, man, I suck at it. I dont think I'm qualified for the editor position. So I'm going to withdrawal. Took me a day to finish everything. Pretty noob-ish so uh yea...Haha. I did the hard & long way of editing the stuff.

Hmm, seems good. I've always wanted to actually contribute to making the scanlations ^_^ I've been a total leecher. But I'm interested in editing now *downloads test* I have no experience though, but I went through a tutorial and kind of learned the basics(it took FOREVER b/c of the typesetting tho). I might apply

i would like to try editing... even though i have no experience but i saw some sites that taught me how to edit. anyway i hope i can help edit things even though i have absolutely no experience but i'm going to try my best , and i'll take the editiing test
