To be honest, I wouldn't have picked this manga up to read if it hadn't been for all the comments I heard about. And being that must of them were good, I decided to go ahead and read it.. And boy am I glad I did. This has become one of my favorites for many reasons. The storyline is definitely interesting and that keeps me wondering what could possibly happen next. I love the characters and their interactions with one another (some of the scene between them are hilarious). And the artwork is fabulous (although I love the chibi Sunako Nakahara I wish she was drawn normal more often - but I guess that would defeat what's being aimed for). This is a pretty hilarious manga.. and how could it be when you have Sunako Nakahara as a main character who's an "agoraphobic, horror-movie-loving, pockmark-faced, frizzy-haired, fashion-illiterate recluse who tends to break into explosive nosebleeds whenever she sees anyone attractive." And then there's Morii a smooth talking playboy that's probably a daddy (lol), Kyohei who's has a bottomless pit for a stomach and a sometimes uncontrollable anger, Toyama who's as easily touched as he is scared, Oda a serious, sensitive type, and then Ms. Landlady (Sunako's aunt) who's a jet-setter and what I'd consider a fashion diva who just wants to see her niece as a lady, even if it means her 'tenants' suffering.

This manga is so funny! Specially Sunako with her obsession with dark stuff XD But lately the story has been dragging alot :frust there hasn't been any development with Kyohei and Sunako :cry or with Sunakos transformation into becoming a lady :bun I hope the main story picks up soon! :wish

This manga makes me laugh. As mentioned, its is already vol 21 and on-going, don't know when and how it will end. The anime was really short and it did not show if Sunako and Kyouhei will become couple or not.

I love this manga, it is so randim. Half the time I'm like what-the where did that come from. So hope she ends up with Kyohei.

I feel that is a similarity between this series Wallflower and Host Club... =p well oblivious they are both the harem sort... well lets not go into depth there but I agree its been dragging on for so long, not that I am complaining or anything because its been dragged on in a very creative way, by that i mean in every volume something new about the characters are revealed.

I think the in the end they will get together but only in the implied manner simply because this seems like that sort or series (comedy) that always just touches on the topic =.= BUT i really hope I am wrong!!! I really would be disappointed if they left it with an open ended ending!

May be they're going to have something dramatic occur to her turning her into semi normal Lol

Honestly, when I first started reading this, it was my absolute NUMBER ONE favorite manga.

Now? I'm starting to get a bit disappointed, actually. I mean, honestly, don't you guys also get the impression that Hayakawa-sensei's just filling up the pages? What's happened in the past five or six volumes? Has there been any kind of development (relationship, psychological...)?

I don't know... I love Sunako, I love Kyohei, I love this manga, but... I'm getting a bit bored with it. I wish something would HAPPEN, for God's sake!

i read the manga first and i really loved it, i was expecting a lot from the anime, but the graphics weren't that good, so i prefer the manga. :bhi

i bought this manga on a whim b/c it was on sale at a thai bookstore in thaitown a few years ago. the cover didn't seem like anything too interesting so i think it was the sale that got me but am i so glad i bought it. this is on my top 10 fav manga list. it is HILARIOUS. sonako and her trials. it's ridiculous but perfect. the anime is great too.

I first starting reading this manga simply because i thought the art style was really nice and now i really like it. its really funny but the only thing is that sometimes it drags...i want to see some romantic progress, gosh dang it! heh :p><

i really do like this story because of the characters and the laughter, but my issue is that it really is taking a long time to finish. hopefully, it would wrap up soon.

Am I the only one who thinks the series is dragging on for too long? I mean I like the manga, but jeeze. Can the mangaka make it last any longer? It's so obvious she will end up with Kyohei. It's starting to annoy me how it's been 92 chapters and barley any plot development.

I really don't mind that the series are so long... like, at all!!! Coz it's more fun for me, I don't want it to end. You must agree, when a good book ends you can't help but feel angry coz it ended! I scream in my head "I want more!!! >.<"... So the longer - the better, especially with the way Hayakawa draws - I will never get bored :bpeace
