First rumors are in;
And our rumored title is Juuden Sentai Kyouryuger. The kanji that make up "Juuden" are beast (juu, which most of us should know by now) and thunder. I won't get into what the word "kyouryu" means, since again it's a word most of us should be familiar with by now. Especially if you've ever seen watched this.
Also I'd just like to say that at this point in time, since this is the initial rumor, there's a high chance this isn't what we'll actually be getting.
The mecha the Kyoryuuger pilot are referred to as the "Jyuden Genshijyu" 獣電原子獣 (Beast Electric Atom Beasts). The term is a play on the word "Genshijyu" 原始獣 (Primitive Beasts), and are not dinosaurs, but ancient animals. This makes the rumor very hard to believe, but it is interesting, and I figured posted it would breed some good discussion.
-The Kyoryuuger will henshin with the temporarily-titled, "Kyoryuu Smaho" (Kyoryuu Smartphone)
As unlikely a rumor it would be, it would be an interesting and original motif for a series. Plus, you could bring in actual dinosaurs with rival rangers, enemies, or even later mecha. The rumor goes onto say that the animal choices are a concious decision to move away from the dinos used and re-used in Abaranger, and takes its animals from the Cenozoic Era instead. Pink's Jyuden Glyptodon will be the first Armadillo mecha in 12 years, and a lot of them seem new to the Sentai mythos. (Deer was also back in Gaoranger for those who don't remember.)
(Sidebar from Me: I'm very much a paleontology-enthusiast. The term Kyouryuu in Japanese translates to Dinosaur, but literally means "Giant Dragon." Dinosaur fossils (and those of large, prehistoric mammals) were thought once to be the bones of dragons and giants, hence the name.)
If true you have to give Toei some credit for not trying to repeat the dinos that we saw in Zyu and Aba.
