Favorite Episode, Season One

It's very hard to vote, but "33" is a milestone of pilot history

I loved them all, of course...but rank my very top picks based on the depth of the catatonic state that occurs when I watch this show! Honestly, I just sit there with my mouth open and stare! I don't think, I don't breathe..I just stare!

So, for me...its 33 and Kobol's Last Gleaming, part 2.

Hand of God showed us a little bit of happiness, the music fit in great first with the lighter scene then the "Magnificant Bastard" scene, and I have to admit that first Lee is Frakking crazy flying through that tunnel and second that Cylon bases can really blow.

All were good episodes. But my favourite if KLG II. What a way to end a series. But all episodes have been good.

And to top it off, Tahmoh jokingly answered my question the same way! After much discussion between he and Aaron first, though. I thought he'd never answer my question at the chat.

Got to be KLG II - It seems so many years since I saw a series finale that actually made me want to see what happened next, moreover, made me care what happened next.

I have to say, I wish I could vote again. If I could, I would probably vote for Flesh and Bone. Having watched it over again, several times, I am amazed at the psychology used by Leoben. And exactly how much he really knows about everything. It's bizarre.

And the ending is classic. Just perfect to see a change in Starbuck.

KGL 2 was awsome

and i have to agree mayo seeing a compleatly different side of Kara was nice even a little upseting to see

I thought KLG 2 was one hell of an awesome episode but I truly liked them all, Kara's change in Flesh and Bone was a nice twist for her but there will be much more to come with her I think in future episodes.

It has to be Hand of God! But a close second is the season close!!! I mean i was actually screaming at the screen! But HAND OF GOD makes me all happy!! It rocks as an episode and rewatching the end - i mean wowza!

I agree, I even loved the music in this--

I personally like "Hand of God" the best, because it has great action. I like how they go in and attack the cylon mining base so they can take it for themselves, and this is one of my favorite episodes of all of Battlestar Galactica.

rats! I'm going to have to reqatch them just so that I can rank episodes - only watched it once after I got the dvds so that I could at least say that I had watched it. I mean, I met Tricia before watching BSG and was all 'so what's the big deal' with my gf...now I could kick myself

Rewatched Hand of God the other day and it still had me on the edge of my seat even though I know the plot "inside out"

I had a bit of a toss up between '33' and 'you can't go home again' but in the end I was watching '33' when some friends came around and it converted them even though they didn't watch 'si-fi' so.

The Hand of God is by far my favorite episode of season 1.

First of all, loads of great action. I love the Viper Mk II!!! The scene where Lee is flying around (and inside) the Cylon base is Kick ***!!!

The whole father/son thing with Lee and Bill Adama is cool as well; It was satisfying to watch them continue to mend fences.

Last but not least; the music is beautiful!!! I'm actually listening to the season one soundtrack as I type this; A Good Lighter and Wander My Friends (both featured in that episode) are two of my favorite tracks.
