Region 1 DVD's to be announced

We've just heard from our sources that Universal is going to be announcing the release of Battlestar Galactica: The Complete First Season very soon. This is Ron Moore's new SciFi Channel version, FYI, which is already available on DVD in the U.K. (the series' second season debuts here in the States on The SciFi Channel on 7/15, followed by the U.K. debut in October on Sky One). We'll post all the official details as soon as they're available. Rest assured you won't have long to wait. :sm:

Great news but what has been the hold up? At this rate I will be watching these DVD's by the season two mid-season break! :gripe:

I doubt it. We will probably get it this Fall, around Sept.

aah thank goodness you guys are getting the dvd's soon hope the r1 are worth the wait.

I hope there are some more extras than we got, maybe a podcast for each episode rather than the last few

I have now got a multi regional dvd player so if they have more dvd extras and podcasts i will buy the r1set
