Mod Jobs

Do you want to moderate a board? Here is what moderating (modding) involves:

Checking it at least once a week to make sure there is no vulgarity.
Moving topics if they belong in another catagory
Being relatively knowlegeable in the board you are assisting on.

There are currently nine openings:

General Discussion (This one doesn't require you to be knowlegeable about anything.)---Jenn

Rabbits---SLRabbits

Bunnies/Kits---Solebomber

Feeding

Cages and Bunny-Proofing Houses (This one requires two...One specializing in cages and the other in bunny-proofing houses)

Grooming

Illness/Disease

Where do I sign up? I have over 20 years expierence in raising/showing Netherland Dwarf rabbits - have had a few other breeds as well such as Holland Lops, Britania Petites, Californians, New Zealands, Checkered Giants, Dwarf Hotots, Lionheads, and soon I will have a few English Lops. - right now I have only the dwarfs. I have a Ton of expierence with rabbit medical conditions, breeding/birthing, genetics, cage building, feeding, grooming - not a lot of "house bunny" expierence - a little but not much.

Sole seems to me you have more than enough experience to mod any board on here. I could seriously use your help in the medication dept. now and then. Glad to see you here, a familiar name.

Solebomber, just post here which one you want to do. You do seem to have experience w/ all of the areas so just decide which one you want to do.

I would love to help the board out, I just don't know which category would be best for me. I am fairly knowledgeable in all the categories, save the medical one- I am by far no expert in that field.

I am currently raising Holland Lops, so I could help out on the kits, genetics, grooming, feeding, cages, ect.

Just let me know if you would like my help and where you want me.

I think both Solebomber and SLRabbits will make fair and excellent moderators. We are lucky to have them. Most of the folks that I know on this board like to hear the opinions of others. I've seen some "attack boards" and those people are made of sterner stuff than me. It would hurt my tender little feelings.

I'd love to help out if you'd like me too! I don't know a ton about rabbits, but I think I could help with the General Discussion board.

I was going to do it today but I've been doin' still more science homework so...By this weekend, I will surely post something on explaining the mod job more in-depth for all of you Mods.

Well Id like to help in any way that i can. Fairly new to bunnies but i have 2 of my own so i am learning also. I know the basic and some great links to sites to help others. If u have a place to put me great!!! Id love to be a part of the team.

How about I start you off in the Feeding topic?

Sounds great to me. Like i said id love to help in anyway. I am in love with these adorable bunnies and just have fun chatting. I am also a stay at home mom so i have plenty of time on my hands.

Out of curiosity, how old are your kids? I love little ones more than I love bunnies, and that's saying something, lol
