what is gungame exactly.., im confused

what is gungame? liek deathmatch? or what im confused..

gun game mod is where you start out a low vl - 1, with a glock
as you gain lvls by getting kills you get better weapons
person with highest lvl at map change wins
good game gotta play on gg_ maps though

Works best in junction with death match servers though, especially because the last levels (knife and grenade) are virtually impossible to get on a regular server. The mod honestly aggrivates me cuz people KS a ton and what not... but most servers Ive played it on were on, you guessed it, dust2.

I've never played it so I'm just curious. Why is grenade and knife considered the last level?

er... thats just how it is. I suppose because it is the most difficult.

You start out with weak pistols like the glock, work up to the deagle. Then you get SMG's, then rifles, scout and AWP, then the nade and finally the knife.

It wouldnt be too hard to get a knife kill if everyone started out with only a knife... but it IS hard to get a knife kill when everyone has para's and your the only one with a knife.

Nade is the last level because it is the hardest. You have to be able to blow someone up before you win and make the game end. It is alot of fun but is the best with deathmatch enabled, or else its ust to long of waiting time.

Great mod. One of my favorites to play.

Some servers work the cycle backwards, which seems to make it a little more fair to me. All in all, IMHO another deathmatch mod for a game that originally did something new with deathmatch. We're moving backwards :S .

Cycling the guns backwards is a sweet idea, i have never seen that happen before in a server...good idea.

Another server for PWN to run is highly unlikely at the moment. Perhaps with a larger fan-base...

Tbh, If PWN was going to get another server. I would suggest a plain old League rules CS server.

E.g. Round time 3mins.
Buy time 30sec.
Plant 45secs

NooB Friendly server. Always $16,000. Buy time 1 minute. Double jump. A few other fun mods but nothing overboard.

Thats not something that hugely impacts game play... whats it matter? The few times it will get any use is to buy grenade when you need it, or get a defusal kit if you forgot one...

One thing about 16000 money is that people will buy out, then rejoin as soon as they die which can get kind of annoying, especially because if they do it fast enough you will have to kill them 2 times per round.
