We are limiting clones because Manticore do have casualties, be it miscarried, born dead, killed by the progeria like illness, killed in training, killed on a mission, killed in the cauterization of Washington, killed by Ames & co, killed by other means....
It does not make sense for all series clones to be running around, so we are limiting to certain ones.[U]
R in the designations of some Transgenics
Please remember that this means 're-indoctrinated'
It's given to
any X series (or mer person, etc) who has successfully been mentally 'reconditioned' for whatever reason.
Most of the clones of the 09-ers have it in their designation, as do those in the 'clone' unit, who are not a clone, guilt by association with clones of escapees.
(Those without the R, it means that re-indoctrination failed, but this is
rare)
Most of those in 'Maxs' unit that did not manage to escape, due to the escape of some of them, also have the R in their designation.

Younger clones of those in 'Maxs' unit, are also more likely than not, to have been re-indoctrinated.... although unlike the majority of the X5s, this is
not compulsory, its a personal choice.
Note: Since they never used the R with Max in S2, then we go with her not being successfully re-indoctrinated before Manticore went boom, so she's not got it on her records, like some others on site that it failed with, so no R on their records, like Eva, she does not have it of the 09-ers...
It does not mean clone.
Re: use of standard DNA in bios
The terms: Standard, typical, normal, usual, basic etc X (whatever) DNA are no longer valid, nor is etc after a list of a few types.

DNA storage Please make use of it, because not stating all DNA in your cocktail hinders game play, plots that would need that information include:
- Male / female who is mostly a certain type, being more attracted to those with a similar genetic make up.
- If someone is telepathic with only one class of species, then they need to know if they can use that ability with the character.
- Those with their files hunting them, so it can be thrown into the thread, to make game play more realistic...
- Manticore, to work out whom to breed with whom... it could then be mentioned in threads about the pairings.
- To tell if ranking issues would come into play, i.e two, or more, with wolf DNA could start feeling more wolfish and acting like them... some may even have it in their bios that its a trait for theirs with others with wolf (whatever) DNA, so they need to know who has it.
Transgenic parentage
Please recall these facts when making a Transgenic.
- Mothers = ALL are surrogates (unless the mother is a Transgenic)
- ALL tampering to create Transgenics is done on an egg pre implantation into a surrogate. -- This includes adding in most cases multiple human DNA sources as well as animal to produce the best Transgenic.
- Bar-code information is inserted 5 months into gestation, so that is inserted while in the womb. -- Those mothers who escape before their pregnancy if 5 months along their offspring do not have a barcode.
- It is normal for Transgenics to be born at 7 months, due to their animal DNA.
Re: Admins asking to adjust bios / WIP ones! READ
If you've been asked to amend a bio or if you've posted a partial one to finish later, when sorted / finished, please post again in that thread so an admin knows to look at the bio again for accepting.
We do not keep checking bios to see if they are ready for accepting, so without a post to say 'done' those bios can be missed for a while.
We are not purposely not looking at them when you've corrected / finished them, we just don't know you've done so.
Just post 'done' and we'll be happy to read and hopefully accept so you can start playing.
