Physical description: 5'5" 113lbs
Kas is petite by all accounts. She almost appears weak because of it. Instead her build is designed for quick, graceful, and decisive movement. Her black hair is kept at shoulder length, and she allows it lay however it wants. Her heritage is apparently Asian, though what part in particular is difficult to tell, especially taking into account her naturally tan skin. The brand of the Familiars is on her inner right arm.

Kasune is a master of 16 martial arts forms, in addition to Phalanx mastery. However, her style of combat has evolved to a blend of all of these martial arts. As she once told a member of her squad when sparring, "Just because I start with a hapkido stance, don't expect me to use hapkido. Or even anything remotely like it."
When it comes to weapons, Kasune is a master with all forms of blades. She is not lacking in use of modern weaponry such as guns and grenades, as she is one of the best shots of her class. In addition to her advanced training with weapons, she has taken her que from the character in a book she read about, and is highly skilled at using improvised weaponry, and at turning virtually anything into a weapon.
Other physical training she has includes stealth, pickpocketing, acrobatics, blind-fighting, and escape artistry. In addition, Kasune is known for constantly using weighted clothing ie arm and leg bands, backpacks, etc, during her training. As soon as she becomes comfortable with the weight, she increases it (about 20lbs increments, depending on what she's training at the time). She started doing this as a child, and therefore is often faster, stronger, and has far more endurance than even other Phalanx warriors.
In addition to Minoan and English, Kasune is fluent (without accent even) in 7 other languages; Vietnamese, Greek, Chinese Traditional, Japanese, Spanish, and Italian. She is also fluent in American Sign Language, and prefers using that for communication with her squad, as it's less likely to be recorded.
In school, she studied three things majorly; psychology/sociology, chemistry, and warfare. Psychology and sociology have given her the ability to predict people fairly accurately, in addion to "reading" them. It is rare that someone is actually able to suprise her because of this, though not entirely unheard of. Her study of warfare has made her a wonderful tactician. She is trained and knowledgeable about tactics stretching back as far as Ancient Egypt, up to tactics involving advanced modern technology. Chemistry she uses in addition to her weapons improvisation. She uses her knowledge of chemicals and elements to know what makes good weaponry, what could make better weaponry, and what's best to use in any situation.
Kasune is trained in driving cars, motorcycles, and flying helicoptors.
She seems perfectly capable of grasping abstract theories, such as the theory of relativity, alternate timelines, and the internal physics of a hypercube. However, her mind doesn't allow her to focus on such intensive math, so she is not capable of performing advanced calculus and theoretical mathematics.
History: Kasune was born to a Familiar mother of the Phalanx caste, and an ordinary male. Even at such a young age she showed signs of trying things far before other Familiar children would. She didn't always succeed, but she proved to be highly ambitious. Perhaps because of this, her mother decided to take care of her personally, instead of simply dropping her into a Familiar orphanage.
Six, the age of the test. During the procedure, she developed a very high fever, and many did not expect her to live through it, let alone pass. Once the fever subsided and the test was over, Kasune was not only alive, but in perfect health. Then came her schooling.
Unlike other Blood Royale, whom often went home at every oppurtunity, Kasune remained at the school in order to train and study. This didn't mean that her mother and her didn't spend time together, but it was usually something physically intense, such as full-contact sparring. As everything she did seem to come so easily for her, and she proved to be a formidable fighter (easily the best in her class) she was put into the Phalanx class.
At the age of 16 she advanced to university, where she continued her training, and specialized in warfare and psychology and chemistry. She graduated at 21 with BS in Psychology and Chemistry. During this time she also completed the mastering of her martial arts styles, including Phalanx, and began melding them into one virtually flawless fighting style.
After graduating from college she was given orders to breed with a man named Dalton and produce at least one child. After the two required miscarriages, she managed to produce a healthy daughter. After the weaning, Kasune left the child in the care of her grandmother, and returned to her Phalanx work. Due to exemplarary school record before the breeding, she was made a squad leader based in Seattle. Despite her work, and continual training, she still finds time to visit her daughter on occasion.
Other: Kasune has a strange love for fictional stories. On the rare occasion that she takes a break from her training, studies, and work, she'll sit down with a book and read it cover to cover in a matter of hours.
Personality:
Two traits most commonly considered for Kasune are sly and cold. She is highly intelligent and very manipulative. Her patience for foul ups is very limited, not only with other people but with herself. She has little care for title, or crown, never giving respect unless it is earned. She is wise enough to have not let this cause problems for her in the Familiar nation, but she can't always hide the sarcasm when speaking of higher ups. And she doesn't let anyone, not even higher Familiars, get in the way of her personal wants and growth. So far her wisdom has kept her out of trouble.
She keeps everyone at arm's length, as far away as possible emotionally. Even her squad, whom she believes is there for her to lead and protect, rarely see her caring for them. She does not tolerate lieing, and refuses to do so herself unless completely neccesary. Her trust for psis is very limited, and dislikes having them in her unit. She tolerates them only for their skills. She does not allow her squad to slack, even at off times, making them train almost constantly, and training even more herself.

When training she wears loose pants, ie sweat or windpants, and a simple t-shirt, in addition to any weighted clothing she may wear of course.
She owns a tactical suit bought from an old army surplus store that she likes to wear when appropriate.
In public she'll wear what's considered proper for the occasion, ie wearing dresses and such during formal occasions.
