Sezoro City was nothing like Fritz had ever seen before. It had several quaint aspects of your usual village, but it was filled with many people recently visiting and several high-rise buildings to house them in. The Pokemon Center wasn't as tall as some of these high-rise buildings, but it sure was as populated with many new adventurers just like himself. It was into this building that Fritz entered, along with his Psyduck, Juggle.

Inside the Pokemon Center, there were several customers that were waiting to treat their individual Pokemon. There was also a Torchic, a Glameow, a Drifloon and a Bronzor gathered around in the waiting room. Juggle decided to join them in their conversation while Fritz headed to the main queue that was heading for the main desk. Eventually he arrived at his destination. "I would like you to heal these Pokemon please." He then proceeds to show them Barrel and Ring.

Suddenly there was a sound like a telephone ringing. The person serving Fritz answered the phone. "Oh Yes. He just arrived to heal his Pokemon... Hang on, I'll put him through." He then turns to Fritz. "There's a picture phone call for you from the labratory. You can use that phone on the left-hand side over there." Fritz then proceeded to the picture phone and picked up the receiver. A picture of Professor Alacore appeared on the screen.

[Professor Alacore]

Professor Alacore was looking at the screen and saw Fritz appear. He seemed to have made the destination in just a few days already. Professor Alacore was proud.

"Great job Fritz. I see you've made it to Sezoro City! I've been calling the past two days hoping to catch you. See I have a request for you and I'm hoping you will take this offer. I found this egg in the backyard the other day and you were one of the few people I knew that had to have made it through already. Five other travelers are just ahead of you but surely you'll catch up. Anyways, this egg, I was wondering if you would like to carry it for a while. It needs someone to take care of it and I personally would but my Pokemon seem to be fighting over who gets to take care of it. I can take a guess at what pokemon it is but I'd rather let you find out for yourself."

He showed up the egg on the screen. The egg looked similar but hard to tell which Pokemon it was. Fritz had best choose quickly before Professor Alacore decides to keep it for himself. And surely Fritz wants more Pokemon. After all a grass Pokemon egg would help against the first gym leader once it hatches!

Fritz was pleased with this unexpected turn of events. "Yes, Professor Alacore, I'll take the egg right now. But I've got two questions to ask you before you make this happen. First of all, how will you transport the egg to this location? Unless you want to try shoving it through the hard drive. Secondly, there are several trainers in the waiting room behind me. Do you recognise any of them from the Pokemon they carry?"

Then Fritz went into detail trying to describe everything about the trainers and their Pokemon. Meanwhile, Juggle was thouroughly enjoying herself as she was dancing with the Glameow who was leading her.

[Professor Alacore]

Professor Alacore smiled at the boy. He obviously had never seen a pokeball transporter before let alone the transporter that was sitting right next to the phone. He shook his head, still holding the egg. This boy had much to learn about Pokemon and their habitats and how other electronics work. He would have suggested for him to find out himself but what was the point?

"Well Fritz, pokeballs and Pokemon Eggs are almost alike except only Pokeballs can be transported from one place to another, that is. However I will be delivering the egg by a Pokemon's teleport. It will show up momentarily. As for the trainers behind you. No I'm afraid I do not recognize any of them. However, there is one but he left a while ago. You can try and find him on the streets. His name is Dave. I better go though so you take care. Bye"

Just as he disappeared on the screen and the phone hung up, behind Fritz appeared a Butterfree holding an egg. The Butterfree obviously knew teleport in order to do that. Handing the egg over, the Butterfree took the mail from Nurse Joy and teleported back to Renwood to meet up with the professor. Well there you have it. Fritz was now carrying an egg... grass pokemon at that.

Fritz couldn't understand how the transport device actually worked. Having lived virtually his entire life travelling from circus to circus, he was somewhat backwards-inclined towards the current technology methods concerning Pokemon and their transport.

Fritz watched as the Butterfree delivered the grass Pokemon egg into his hands. Then the Butterfree vanished into thin air by using the teleport move. "So I'm supposed to look for a trainer named Dave, and the people in the waiting room are not looking for me in particular. But there's plenty of other people located in Sezoro City, and the sun's setting pretty fast." (These are Fritz's own thoughts, he's not speaking to the Professor now.)

Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted by a voice from somewhere behind him. "Mr Knockhauser, your Pokemon have been fully healed and waiting for you." Fritz called over his Juggle, who came waddling over in his unique way. He gathered up his remaining Pokemon from the table and set off from the center, hoping to meet up with Dave, be him friend or enemy.

Well that went swell, I guess? Perry had a long journey ahead of him. There were still trainers to encounter along the way before he could make it to Zarter Town. This was gonna be long! Not that I'm complaining or anything. Anyways back to the story. Perry is wandering the streets of Sezoro City until a young boy about seventeen or eighteen is standing in the middle of the road. He was crouching while feeding a tiny red Pokemon.

The Pokemon was definitely a fire type by the looks of it. Most red Pokemon were fire type weren't they? Perry watched as a man came up to the boy asking him something. As he thanked him and ran off he got a slight sound from the man's voice.

"Thanks Dave!"

Ah-ha! He had finally found Dave. That didn't seem so hard since he walked like a few yards from the Pokemon Center. The boy stood up and the Pokemon was identified as a Magby. The small fire type yawned and began doing tiny punches trying to look tough. Perry found the guy that he was looking for and he noticed him as well.

"Hi can I help you?" Dave asked.

Fritz had finally found his target, the aforementioned Dave. Should he approach him in a friendly, persuasive manner, or should he become more aggressive, possibly demanding a battle between the two of them. It was quite a tough decision to make, until...

"Hi, can I help you?"

Well, it seems like a friendly conversation proves to be the best method after all.

"Hi Dave. The name's Fritz Knockhauser. I come from a family of travelling circus performers. Professor Alacore has told me that you would be passing through this town." Fritz then recognised the Magby via the Pokedex. "That's a mighty good-looking Magby you've got there. We've got our own fire-type Pokemon, Charizard, who powers our circus wagon for travelling between towns. Let me introduce you to my friend Ring." Fritz launches Ring's pokeball airbourne, then Ring jumps out of the ball, landing right next to Magby.
