Start of a New Journey, Kitzu and Caleb

[Professor Alacore]

Professor Alacore also heard the door bell. Someone was here but who? He hadn't expected anyone until earlier that day. This was a little odd but then again, a lot of people always came by to say hello or to drop of mail or whatever else it was people did nowadays. Just as long as all of the Pokemon in the yard were safe from harm. That's all that he worried about.

"Let me go check it real quick."

Following him was Victreebel. Surely she wanted to see who it was also. Opening the door, there stood a young boy from the Sinnoh region. Alacore knew exactly who this kid was. Caleb Chanter coming all the way from the Sinnoh region to receive his Pokemon. Alacore smiled and led the boy in.

"Come in Caleb. Professor Rowan already informed me that you'd be coming but I didn't think so soon. We're all down stairs. Join us if you will." He said.

He walked off downstairs without another word and Victreebel sat patiently smiling at Caleb.

"Viiiirrrr!"

[Kitzu]

Kitzu glanced at the professor quickly as he went upstairs, and then back at Happiny.

"Who do you think it is?" She asked the Pokemon, putting the tip of her thumb against her lips - her way of showing that she was thinking. She didn't do it very long before the professor was coming back down.

"Who was it?"She asked, not looking up. Her fingers played around with Happiny's hands as she spoke. Turning her head to look at the professor, she sighed quietly.

"Oh."She said, noticing the boy who must have been the person at the door. "Hi.."She added quietly.

[Caleb Chanter]

"Hi..." He heard a female voice say to him. Caleb turned to see the girl standing with a bright, small pink-looking Pokemon in her arms dangling and smiling as big as she possibly could. Caleb smiled back and greeted back to her. He wondered where the Professor went to but hadn't quite payed much attention when he walked in.

"I'm Caleb, from Sinnoh. Nice to meet you." Caleb was usually shy around girls at first. He never knew what to expect around them really. All he knew what to say was "hi" and "hello" and even "my name is Caleb". Boy he was never a good conversation starter. He was as stiff as any guy could ever be. Wow right? dang!

[Kitzu]

Kitzu smiled, nodding at him. He seemed... shy? Nervous? It seemed that way.
"I'm Kitzu." She said quietly. "I was born in the Johto region and my first ever Pokemon was a Chikorita."She paused quietly. "I like people."She told him. "And Pokemon, tehy're cool, too. 'Specially the small ones."

She looked back at Happiny, shaking her head slightly. "And I started rambling didn't I?" She asked him, sighing. "I do that a lot. Oh, and this is Happiny." She said, pointing at the Pokemon. "She's my new Pokemon. Now I have to be quiet cause I'm rambling." She said, closing her mouth.

[Caleb Chanter]

Caleb smiled at Kitzu. She seemed really nice to him. She began talking which was what he thought all girls did was usually just talk but Caleb was so used to it he didn't care. He was amazed when he heard Kitzu has had a Pokemon before now. This was really cool. She would be an expert trainer wouldn't she? Caleb was amazed. Then Kitzu started apologizing which Caleb found awkward.

"No your fine. You're not rambling. Rambling usually keeps going for about at least two minutes or so. It's pretty cool you've had a Pokemon before Happiny. She's really pretty. This is my first Pokemon that I'm getting today so hopefully I do well. I'm hoping for a Turtwig if Professor Alacore has one."

Caleb looked around as Pokemon fluttered around. Professor Alacore was sure taking a long time. Hopefully he was okay.

[Kitzu]

Kitzu smiled at him. "Yeah, but I could tell I was going to start rambling if I hadn't already." She told him, watching Happiny as she went off to play with the other Pokemon.

Kitzu pushed a piece of her hair out of her face, sighing. Her hair was long enough that it was constantly in her face - she made a note to herself to get her hair cut soon.

"I always ramble - it's a bad habit of mine." She said to Caleb, sighing again.
