Start of a New Journey, Kitzu and Caleb

[Kitzu]

Kitzu's sapphire blue gaze was set on the large building not twenty feet from her. She'd only seen it before, she'd never actually been there, though. She was still struggling to accept the fact that she was going to go there, to get her own Pokemon.

She loved all the Pokemon, it was just part of her nature, and decisions based around them troubled her sometimes. Whether it was to help one or not was an easy one, of course, but choosing one over another was different.
She shook her head, her dark hair falling around her face and walked to the door of the lab.

Knock or just go in? She though to herself, and bit her lip. She thought about it for a moment before just pushing the door an inch open. She opened it fully, and then walked in. Her eyes gazed around the room, looking at each piece of machinery, each section of it, taking in the details.

"H-h-hello?"She said after walking until she was several feet into the room.

[Professor Alacore]

"No No! Not there!"

Professor Alacore was chasing some baby Pokemon all around the house. They were running into everything and some of them were breaking his items. It was frustrating. Alacore caught the baby Chimchar and Poliwag but the Happiny was still running about. Whistling, a Marowak entered the room. Alacore signaled the bonekeeper to watch the other Pokemon.

"Stay and watch them. I've got to catch the little one."

Alacore ran up the stairs from the basement. The little Happiny however was running, mildly about. As the Happiny almost ran into a table the Pokemon turned and saw a young girl standing in the room. The Happiny smiled with joy. She finally had someone to play with. The Happiny charged with speed and jumped into the girls hands. Alacore finally caught up and noticed what was happening.

"I.. uh.. s-see y-you've f-f-found H-h-h-happiny!" He said while out of breath.

Alacore caught his breath slowly and looked at the trainer.

"Welcome to my-uh dome of starting Pokemon. I also keep trainer's pokemon in my back yard for the time being when their trainers do not use them. Now I'm sorry miss, what's your name again?"

[Kitzu]

Kitzu gasped in shock when the Happiny jumped in her arms, then smiled. The young Pokemon was among her favorites-if you could call every Pokemon her favorite. "Hey."She said to it, smiling. She looked at it for a moment before hearing a man's voice. She lifted her head to glance at the speaker.
He hadn't really introduced himself, just told him that he looked after the starting Pokemon, along with some others, but part of her knew instinctively it was Professor Alacore.
"My name's Kitzu."She said quietly,looking back at Happiny. It squirmed playfully in her arms, making her smile. "I'm going to take a good guess that you're professor Alacore?"She added in the same small voice.

[Professor Alacore]

"I'm Kitzu, and I'm gonna take a good guess that you're Professor Alacore?" Kitzu asked.

"And I can take a good answer that you are correct. I'm Professor Gerrald Alacore. Scientist and Pokemon Researcher along with the other professors. Residence is here in Renwood Town, Koehn Region."

Alacore smiled. The Happiny seemed to have taken a lot of interest in the girl trainer that was holding her. Happiny was just a baby but she had a big heart as well. Happiny could always tell the difference between a good heart and an evil heart. Alacore looked at the girl and studied her before opening his old mouth.

"I would presume that you are here to begin your journey right away am I right?" He asked. She had to be here for some reason.

[Kitzu]

Kitzu looked back at him, and nodded."That's 'zactly why I'm here."She said, smiling. She looked around the lab a bit more, then back at Happiny. "I like this Happiny."She added partially to herself.
To Kitzu, the little Pokemon was adorable. Kitzu had always taken a fancy in the smaller, more baby-like Pokemon. They were just naturally cute, no matter what they looked like. The larger ones were still cool, but you can't really call an Aggron "cute".
Kitzu sighed quietly, watching the Pokemon in her arms. She liked the Happiny, part of her had already made the decision that she wanted the Happiny for her starter, but she still wasn't one hundred percent sure of it. There was bound to be many more Pokemon to choose from.

[Professor Alacore]

Professor Alacore smiled. We had another trainer looking for a starter Pokemon. Alacore looked to his Marowak and to the stairs then back to the girl with Happiny. She couldn't have chosen right away, I mean there are still more to choose from right? Alacore nodded to the Marowak and then turned to Kitzu.

"Follow me. There are more Pokemon downstairs that you can choose from too."

Professor Alacore walked down the stairs and entered his dirty, messy, toy-spilling basement. Toys were everywhere and the Pokemon were all playing and some were fighting. That's what Marowak and Victreebel down there was for. One of the pokemon, a Bellsprout, was sitting next to Alacore's Victreebel. It was the Victreebel's kid so she wasn't wanting to get rid of him to a trainer yet so she kept him close by her.

"Please take your time to look around. They're a little squirmy but they do no harm. At least not to you."

The Pokemon wrestled and screamed at each other like regular human kids do. Who knew Pokemon were so amazing and amusing to watch all at once?

[Kitzu]

Kitzu nodded and followed the professor to the basement. She walked down the stairs, and paused at the bottom, looking around the room. There were lots of Pokemon there, that alone made her happy.

She walked into the room a bit more. "I'm going to look at the other Pokemon."She said to the Happiny, putting her down on the ground before walking around the room, taking her time to look at all the other Pokemon. There was so many, now she wasn't as sure about Happiny. Her eyes glanced in every which direction, looking at each individual Pokemon. She smiled when she was the Bellsprout, and then looked at Alacore.

"There's so many of them..."She said quietly.

[Professor Alacore]

"There's so many of them." Kitzu told him.

Alacore smiled.

"Indeed there are. We try to find so many trainers to come and be kind and gentle to all of them. My Victreebel however isn't one to be ready to give up Bellsprout yet so that's a no on him but if you ar..."

Suddenly, Happiny ran around and jumped back into Kitzu's arms. She wanted to be the girls Pokemon so bad. The Happiny smiled, giggled, laughed and rubbed her head on Kitzu. The little happy Pokemon had a very good friendship liking to Kitzu and didn't want her to leave. This was shocking to the Professor for no Pokemon had never acted so much as like this to any other trainer before.

"You must have a good deal of heart if this Happiny likes you so much Kitzu. Would you consider in taking this Pokemon? Normal types are very unique. They learn much more valuable, strategic and powerful attacks them most other Pokemon do. Its a wonder but also fascinating." He replied.

The Happiny smiled and clapped its hands in happiness to Kitzu. Obviously this had to be the exact perfect Pokemon for her and the female Pokemon as well. They seemed to both like each other or do my eyes deceive me?

[Kitzu]

Kitzu smiled as the Happiny jumped back in her arms. She looked at Professor Alacore for a moment, then at Happiny again. It would be so easy for her to say yes, to say that she wanted the Happiny. She hadn't expected it to be so easy, but she hadn't expected Happiny in her plan.

"Do you like me Happiny?"She asked the small Pokemon, smiling."Cause I like you." She held the little Pokemon against her gently, and then placed her finger gently between her eyes to see what her reaction would be.


Kitzu turned to face the professor for a second time."Yeah."She said quietly."I like Happiny. She'd be a good first Pokemon." By the time she'd finished, her finger was of the Pokemon's head and she was looking at Happiny again."Would you like that, being my Pokemon?"She asked Happiny, smiling.

[Professor Alacore]

The Happiny's smile widened as big as it could. It was happy as it could get. This Pokemon wasn't at full happiness but it was at a high percentage of happiness that was for sure. The Happiny laughed and giggled. Once the Happiny jumped out of Kitzu's hands, the little baby ran over and picked up the coffee table. Professor Alacore was a little stunned at how it was showing off.

"Good thing I don't have anything on there. I just hope she doesn't toss it out the window."

The table began to glow in purple aura and immediately floated out of Happiny's arms. The Happiny was confused at what just happened. This always happened but never did she pay attention to it. Alacore's Slowbro was lifting the table with his psychic powers and gently settled it down on the carpet. Slowbro smiled as the Happiny ran back to Kitzu.

"So tell me Kitzu, what region did you come from? What is your goal with Pokemon? Coordinator, trainer, breeder, ranger, to become gym leader or elite four?"

Professor Alacore always wondered what the trainers nowadays wanted to be. It always worried him if they would choose the wrong path. Especially with Team Rocket, Team Lunar and Team Solar running around.

[Kitzu]

Kitzu watched Happiny with a smile on her face. She hadn't expected the small Pokemon to be able to life the coffee table. She was obviously happy that Kitzu wanted her.

Kitzu turned her attention to Alacore when she heard him speaking. He'd asked where she'd grown up, what she planned to do with her Pokemon.

"I was born in Johto and moved here when a couple years ago." She said quietly. "I had a Chikorita, but I left her there. My cousin's looking after her now."She smiled. "Leafe was a good Pokemon."

Kitzu sighed, and looked around, before looking back at Happiny."I don't really know what I want to do with my Pokemon. Probably be a mix of a trainer and co-ordinater, possibly a breeder if I feel I can fit that in with the other two." She hadn't really thought about it, though her idea sounded good to her.

[Professor Alacore]

Professor Alacore's eyes widened! She had had a Chikorita before? Alacore never spoke to Elm about that! He would definitely be calling him up. If she had had a Chikorita before then she would seem to be suitable for almost any Pokemon she wanted! Alacore smiled at this thought and chuckled a bit.

"Wow. If you had a Chikorita then there is no doubt that you can raise this Happiny here!"

The Happiny just smiled and ran back to Kitzu and jumped into her arms. The two girls were as happy as any trainer and Pokemon could be. It was said that Happiny, Chansey and Blissey could all tell of which humans had good, pure hearts and which humans had low, dark pure hearts. Happiny danced in Kitzu's arms just laughing and giggling all at the same time. What Pokemon could ever be happy like this one?

"Happiny family are sure a wonderful site to research and watch. Their goodness is always charmful!"

[Kitzu]

Kitzu nodded with a smile on her face. Her Chikorita -who she'd named Leafe- had been her first -and only- Pokemon. They hadn't been together too long, maybe a half a year, before she had left Johto and put Leafe in her cousin's care. She'd been a slight problem in the beginning, when she was just a new trainer and Leafe had just recently became hers, but other than that she'd got along perfectly with her Pokemon.

Kitzu put Happiny down on the ground, and then sat down right beside where she'd placed the happy Pokemon. Picking Happiny up and placing her on her lap, she glanced at the professor.

"She likes me."She said, a smile on her face. "You like me, right?"She asked the Pokemon playfully. "Cause it's good if you do. We're going to be spending quite a bit of time together now."

[Caleb Chanter]

Caleb picked up his speed. He was running pretty late. He had to make it to the lab of Professor Alacore. Professor Rowan had told him to come here for his Pokemon. It was either that or wait another few weeks for Professor Rowan to get back from his monthly trip to Kanto. Caleb just turned the corner on the main street that the Lab was supposed to be on. Caleb stopped at the front gate. Up the stairs was the house and most likely the lab of Professor Alacore.

Caleb pushed the gate open and shut it behind him as he ran up the steps. Now he was standing in front of the front door to the house. Caleb was so glad he doesn't perspire very. Caleb sighed and knocked on the door and rang the doorbell. Caleb closed his eyes and chanted to himself hoping that it'd come true.

"Please have Turtwig. Please have Turtwig. Please have Turtwig."

[Kitzu]

Kitzu's head jerked up suddenly when she heard a noise. It had sounded like a doorbell, though chances were she was probably just hearing things. Anyway, why would someone be here? It didn't make sense to her.

It was a lab. That was why, and Kitzu realized that after lowering her head back to Happiny. "Umm... I think there's someone at the door." She told the professor quietly. She glanced in the direction of the stairway leading back up to the main floor for a moment.
