I am very excited about Darren Aronofsky's
The fountain. The director himself is an amazing filmmaker with a great CV and I am sure the fountain will be just as good if not better than his previous offerings.
X men 3 is another film I am dying to see (especially after seeing the teaser trailer) the are putting some great stuff into the third part of the trilogy with 2 of my favorite Xmen finally making an appearance.
I usually like to read books that films are based on but I still have not managed to read
The Da vinci code despite many people urging me to do so. I will no doubt unfortunately see the film before I read the book, whether that is a bad thing or not only time will tell.
And lastly (for now)
Silent Hill As a big fan of video games it pains me to see some of the crap adaptions on the big screen (are you listening
Uwe Boll?) but silent hill looks like it may be able to break the terrible stigma attached to movies based on video games. The director seems to be sticking very close to the source material (unlike the hack called
Paul Anderson and his
shitty attempts at video game adaptions) as it was one of the better survival horror games I've played I will be interested to see how it works out on the big screen.
