The Forest, Basically, the forest XD

Jolteon was in a bush, looking at the ground as she cried softly to herself, she was at Pokemon Valley earlier but ran off, pokemon were making fun of her, again.
"Why is it always me...?" she muttered under her breath, she knew it wasn't safe to go out into the wilderness, expecially the forest, because of Pokemon trainers, but she didn't meaningly wonder into there.
She closed hr eyes tightly, trying to stop crying, but to not succeed at all, when suddenly she heard something in the grass.
She quickly looked over, blinking "W-whos t-there?" she asked, her voice quiet.

"I know I lost it here s-somewhere.." The small Mudkip said to herself, as she searched the ground carefully for something of her belonging. This something was a small pink ribbon, just the right size to fit around her wrist. It had two silver bells on it too, which were what Mudkip was worried about most. She really hoped that they were both still attached to the fabric.

As she searched more, Mudkip found that she had reached some bushes. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if it could be in there. She did kind of doubt that it would be, but she still had to check right?
Mudkip sighed, and shivered. It wasn't cold at all, she was just scared. The Wilderness was a pretty dangerous place to be, after all..
No, no! She told herself, shaking her head slightly. Stop thinking such pessimistic thoughts! You'll be fine here! But she knew she couldn't help it. After all, her best friend was taken by the humans.

Deciding in an instant then to venture into the bushes, she took a step or so forward..
"W-whos t-there?" Came a quiet voice, making Mudkip jump a little. Was this a Wild Pokémon? Who might rob her of her berries?
No.. that voice is familiar, i'm sure of it.. Mudkip thought to herself, and stepped a little closer to the bushes, where she was sure she had heard the voice come from. "I-I'm M-M-Mudkip." Her voice croaked, close to the bush now. She stopped walking, and tried to peer inside.
There she saw.. "Electric?".

"I-I'm M-M-Mudkip." Jolteon heard the pokemon reply, she blinked.
Mudkip? What's she doing all the way out here? Jolteon blinked as she looked at the ground

"Electric?" I heard Mudkip's voice, my eyes widdened as I quickly wiped my eyes, covering up the tears, though she knew knew eyes were a easy target to tell.
"M-mudkip...Uhh...w-what're you d-doing all the w-way o-out here?" Jolteon asked, mentally scolding herself for stuttering as she kept her eyes deverted to the ground.

Mudkip smiled gently when she knew it was Jolteon, or Electric as she wished to be called. She saw her rub her eyes a little, and wondered if there was a reason for it, or if her eyes were just a bit ichy. But she decided to ignore it if she could. After all, she felt a little embarressed and shy herself, if someone asked her if something was wrong, when it was.

In reply to Electric's question, Mudkip replied and asked, "I lost a, uhm, sm-small pink ribbon with two bells on it, a-and uhm, I.. was just looking for it. You uhm, haven't s-seen it, have you..?".
After speaking, Mudkip peered behind her, to make sure that no-one was spying on her or anything..

"I lost a, uhm, sm-small pink ribbon with two bells on it, a-and uhm, I.. was just looking for it. You uhm, haven't s-seen it, have you..?" Jolteon nodded slightly at Mudkip
"Actually, I think I have, I saw it around one of those really tall trees, y'know?" Jolteon pointed to a tree a few miles ahead of her as she stood up.

Mudkip grinned happily, as she looked at the trees up ahead of them. Wow, I can't believe it! Mudkip thought, even more happy that she had found Jolteon now!
Mudkip turned her head back to face Jolteon again, "Th-that's great! Thanks, E-Electric!" Mudkip smiled, and stood back up. "Come on! I-I'll race you!" She then winked, and began running through the tall grass, to reach the trees that were kinda far away.

"Th-that's great! Thanks, E-Electric!" Mudkip said, a bit hyperly
"N-no problem Mudkip" Jolteon smiled sheepishly at her
"Come on! I-I'll race you!" Mudkip added, she blinked at Jolteon and than started running off
"H-hey! N-no fair!" Jolteon grinned to herself, running after Mudkip, catching up with her almost instently.

Mudkip laughed, and kept running at a steady pace. Soon though, Jolteon caught up with her, so she tried turning her steady run into a fast sprint! And she regained her position as 1st! But could she keep it up this time? Well, she hoped so. But it didn't matter that much to her, as they were just having fun! Even if she lost the race, she would still laugh, and be happy because she'd find her ribbon!.. right?

They were surprisingly close to the tree's now, and Mudkip had been in front for a while, not even checking on Jolteon's position. For all she knew, Jotleon could've gotten hurt!
This thought got her worried, so she took a quick look behind her. As she did, however, she thought she had seen something in the corner of her eye, when she had turned her head.
Mudkip quickly looked back, slowing down slightly. She hadn't even noticed if Electric was still following, but still said out-loud, "D-d-did you s-see that?". She was going pretty slowly now, as the race had been almost completely removed from her mind.

Jolteon grinned to herself as she followed Mudkip, she was infirst for a couple of minutes, than came back in second, she than quickly stopped seeing somethign in the corner of her eye, she quickly looked to her ight and saw nothing.

"What was that...?" she muttered under her breath, completely forgetting about the race as she started walking, at a slow pace, she looked forward, guessing she just saw something, she quickly stoppe again, seeing it as she looked to her left this time, right, forward, and back, she continued looking around, alittle freaked out.

"D-d-did you s-see that?" Jolteon jumped slightly at the voice, she forgot that Mudkip was there, Jolteon quickly looked at her friend and nodded slowly
"Y-yes...did y-you?" she asked, blinking.

To her relief, Jolteon replied. Mudkip stopped walking all together, and looked at her aswell. Mudkip nodded in reply, "uhuh" She whispered, as she heard something like a rustling sound come from nearby. She turned her head again, on full alert now. Mudkip crouched down, ready to attack if anything tried to hurt them. She also made a low growling sound, to see if that helped warn the other thing off. Yes, she was confident now that there was indeed a 'something' nearby. She just hoped that it wasn't a human! Even a mean Pokémon would be better than one of them.
"Stay close" Mudkip said to Electric, quite clearly for once too! Mudkip was generally not brave, but if she had a friend nearby, she would protect them with her life. She did not want to lose another friend like she did with Bella..
