I made a Zubat movset for Brawl, It didn't happen

Zubat doesn’t really run. It is more like flying. If you remember back in Melee, Mewtwo had the ability to float when he runs. Zubat is the same, except his feet (or whatever they are) never touch the ground (unless he is forced to it) and he flies at about eyelevel to Mario. At first, you may think that this makes down smashes futile against him but, Zubat can be knocked from the air, and he doesn’t get back up at an amazing pace. So, a Meteor Smash onto the stage could set you up for a nice sweep-kick.

Zubat has 5 jumps and the ability to glide. This may make him seem like recovering is all to easy, but those jumps don’t take him all that far by themselves, and his tiny body, while giving him the ability to fly, makes him an easy KO, if not an easy target. His Weight to size ratio is very similar to Pichu’s, so if you think that just because he is small you will never hit him…well Pichu wasn’t exactly top tier.


Sorry, but I am to lazy to make Zubat’s standard moves, maybe some other time.

A gust of wind is whipped up by wings and launched at the foe to inflict damage. This attack picks up opponents and pushes them away from Zubat, much like the Gale Boomerang.

Zubat gives a great push upward and then tucks in its wings, dealing great damage to anyone that he collides with.

Zubat lets out a high pitched scream for three seconds. If the attack isn’t cut off, any opponent that is within the range of double Jigglypuff’s sing attack will have their controls randomized for a short moment. This will not affect an opponent that is not above the stage (if they are recovering).



Final Smash: F*KIN ZUBATS!!!

A new item that only appears when Zubat uses his final smash, the Rare Candy, will spawn on the stage at a random location. The Rare Candy will combine the effects of a Maximum Tomato, and a Mushroom (without affecting size) for a short period of time.

During the scurry to grab the Rare Candy, any of Zubat’s opponents will be pounded by a Zubat that flies in from the side of the stage every time that take a step using Wing Attack.

This FS was designed to recreate the utter frustration that comes from trying to get through a cave in the pokemon RPG games.
