Pilots For Truth > Research > Foias And A New 9/11 Investigation

Posted by: waterdancer Nov 25 2006, 12:12 AM
So I'm starting a new thread to list currently active and yet to be filed FOIA requests for documents etc. which might be helpful to have (as much as can be released in unredacted form, anyway) out in public. Feel free to chime in with more. This is just a beginning and I'll keep adding to it. I know I've left off obvious ones like all the Pentagon videotapes. So far, I haven't been adding in interviews at this point, though those would also be good to have on the record as well. I'm starting my list using

A few currently known FOIA requests and interest:

some that as far as I know have not yet been filed:

Unsure whether these would be requestable through a FOIA or not, but I'll add them to the list for the heck of it...

"air carriers checkpoint operations guide" ATA/RAA?

"sabre response for flight 11, september 11, 2001"

And a post for some which have been successful:

From the National Security Archive: (several documents)

I am still awaiting response to my FOIA from the FAA on the "white plane"
that was photographed flying over the White House during the evacuation
on 9/11.
I also would like to know why NORAD was not made aware as soon as Flight 11 was identified as a "runaway plane" which apparently happened at about 8:20
am. This in itself would have required a NORAD response even if hijacking had not been suspected.
Of course you would think NORAD would have contacted the FAA themselves
once they saw planes being rerouted out of Flight 11's way on radar in view of the fact Flight 11 was headed right for NORAD NEADS.

If it hasn't already been done, I'd put in my own FOIA request for the phone records of the alleged calls. I believe a similar request was put forth for the evidence of these used in the Moussaoui Trial, however, all that turned up was a summary of the calls in a Flash animation. Hardly convincing evidence.
