Welcome to Penance!

We are finally open for others to join! Granted, we're low on members so if you manage to just take a peek in here, please let others know that we are now open and ready to start rping with you! Don't hesitate to ask for help in the C-box or PM an Administrator (ANY of us will do, I promise) with any concerns you may have.

--Penance is Almost Done!--

We still have a long way to go before we can get this site up and underway. Just a few more pushes and shoves and we'll be well on our way! Let's try our best!

HonorClaw Clan Lands
With a view toward Sage's Drop, this watery, semi-forested area is home to those Werecats who are more religious in nature. Moss-covered boulders and small streams litter the landscape, and thick-trunked trees soak up the artificial sunlight, shielding the forest floor and becoming homes for the strong climbers of this Werecat clan.

Frequent visitors to the Forest of Rivergate, the HonorClaws play host to visitors who come into Clandestine Arcs and are frequent visitors themselves to the Inari tribe of Kitsune. While not quite as religious as their 'brethren' in the Kitsune, the HonorClaws are deeply spiritual and spend most of their time studying ancient religions.

Swiftfoot Clan Lands
Located on the outskirts of the city, nearest to Jument Grove, this clan prefers more open space in the form of grassy plains-land and desert steppes, and often find themselves mingling with the equines on the outskirts of Jument Grove. Home to some of the best runners and hunters in the Werecat society, the Swiftfoot clan is always more than happy to take on jobs that require their particular skills. Altereds and Demis are both welcome in their lands, and if one shows a proficiency for hunting, tracking, or running, Swiftfoot clan members are always willing to foster or adopt them into the clan.

Deathfang Clan Lands
At the crowded heart of the city lives this deadly clan of Werecats. The streets are stained with blood, and even the water seems to run more pink than clear in this section of the city. An arena for fighting practice lies at the very heart of their domain, but beware traveling through their turf at night.

Enthusiasts of battle and destruction, the Deathfangs have set up their own practice space within their arena for the bloody Reaper Colosseum, although the arena also hosts local fights. All Werecats, and even those of other species interested in practicing, are accepted into the space . . . but beware, their practice sessions are just as gruesome as the real thing.

Starfur Clan Lands
In a section of the city filled with towering columns and beautifully carved arcs, the noble Starfurs keep themselves separate from the rest of the Werecat clans. While connected to the main power supply of the cities, the Starfurs use very little energy, keeping the lights dimmed in their region, making it look as if they were bathed in eternal twilight.

Comprised mostly of politically-minded people, the Starfurs tend to avoid physical conflict and spend their time advancing their knowledge and grooming their best for work in Shangri-La.

Bristlefur Clan Lands
Facing Hydra Valley, the broad-minded Bristlefurs practice their various arts in a boggy, seemingly ruined section of the city, where some of the glorious arcs have begun to topple over and crumble, though some of this was done deliberately by the Werecats.

Proprietors of arts, music, various forms of fighting, and basically anything else they set their minds to, the Bristlefurs are the most open to new ideas and ways of doing things. While not keen on visitors, if the newcomer has information they have never heard before, or a particular skill that they wish to learn, the Bristlefurs will often offer food and board in return for being taught whatever it is they wish to learn.
