Hello and Welcome to Penance! If you are new to Penance, please read and familiarize yourself with the rules (and everything else) before playing. We love to have fun on the site and to have fun, it's good to know the rules.
We are finally open for others to join! Granted, we're low on members so if you manage to just take a peek in here, please let others know that we are now open and ready to start rping with you! Don't hesitate to ask for help in the C-box or PM an Administrator (ANY of us will do, I promise) with any concerns you may have.
--Penance is Almost Done!--
We still have a long way to go before we can get this site up and underway. Just a few more pushes and shoves and we'll be well on our way! Let's try our best!
One of two entrances to the surface, Doom Gate leads directly into The Wasteland. Highly guarded by the humans, few are allowed into Zone 3's territory for fear of being infected by the radiation or the remnants of the X Virus. Doom Gate is also connected to the main city.
Though spacious, it's stressed to not go near the gate unless authorized, for you will be arrested on site. If your actions are hostile, the guards of Doom Gate will generally resort to force.
The Hotel Nebula is located in Zone 3's City, Ziggurat, and is not only a place to "bed down," but holds a gambling joint, cabaret, and bar. A modernized "tavern" of sorts, Hotel Nebula is the more pleasant hang-out for the humans.
Those outside of the human race are not usually welcome here. Frequent brawls break out here, leading to fatal injuries and even death (especially for those not human).
The largest and only city in Zone 3, this place is full of bustling activity nearly 24/7. "Daytime" gives way to children seen playing in the streets on their way to school or the park as the adults make way to their jobs. "Night" conceives danger and romance around every corner, as well as new and old alliances forming...and even enemies too.
Be careful when traveling through Ziggurat City at night on your own; humans and non-humans alike.
Smaller than its counterpart in Zone 2, Heilung Hospital - staffed entirely by humans - is still an impressive building. Although they do accept non-human patients in dire emergencies, their primary patient base is entirely human. Non-human patients are shunted to the Capital as soon as they're able to be moved.
The Claymore Housing District is just as it states, a housing district set up for houses of reasonable sizes, as well as town houses and apartments. However, because of the space issues, lots of people end up being tenants in various large mansions that have managed to get created underground. Unless you are in pretty good standing with the government and make a decent amount of income, you're not really guaranteed a place of your own...so you better get a roommate to help pay for utilities!
*PM an Administrator with details on your house/apartment/town house and DON'T post in anyone's place without their permission first!*
This subway station allows those in Zone 3 to board the Echelon Express, the only subterranean train that travels and stops through each Zone underground throughout the day, all day.
Those coming in and out of Zone 3 must board this train in order to travel into and out of this zone to get to the other zones underground.
