How Can I Reach You?
Here is where you will find access to the characters' e-mails, snail mails, journals/blogs, scrap books, and normal phone conversations. Because of the mass destruction caused by the war, many means of reaching someone has been lost or no longer was needed. Cell phones don't exist; only land lines. Internet is available, but limited to just sending e-mails.

If you need to get a hold of someone for some reason, just try these various methods as well as being able to discover some of the fascinating secrets of what these characters are actually thinking!

The Wasteland

This area of the world has been completely decimated by the ravage of war as well as the spread of the viral infection. Seemingly a desert, the temperatures are very intense and unless one's body is suited for this kind of environment, staying in The Wasteland can be fatal. You can pass out from the intense heat or be exposed to radiation at high levels that are impossible to cure or treat.

Civil wars or personal battles of one group against another usually take place here. Again, you're free to do battle...but don't stay out too long lest you keel over.

Abandoned Metropolis

One of the few cities still left standing, this area is seemingly a ghost city. With vines and other types of plant life taking both root in and over the place, this "Sin City" has little electricity left running this metropolis. Most of it is now used to generate life in the world of the Underground.

The shadier crowd of the Old Generation, as well as the Demi's and Altereds, make their stand here in the evening time and won't hesitate to kill anything that enters their domain. If you must come to this place, come during the daytime.

Forest of Rivergate

Revered to be "The Holy Land," Rivergate Forest is the only piece of woodland that has been left untainted by the scourge of war and the X Virus. What's even more fascinating is the ruin of marble arches that appear to resemble an abbey of sorts and deemed to be the entranceway to The Forest of Rivergate. Just outside of Rivergate Forest is the last remaining river channel that contains live fish and other untainted aquatic life.

None reside here for it is considered to be sacred ground, but visitations are allowed.

Doom Gate

One of two entrances to the surface, Doom Gate leads directly into The Wasteland. Highly guarded by the humans, few are allowed into Zone 3's territory for fear of being infected by the radiation or the remnants of the X Virus. Doom Gate is also connected to the main city.

Though spacious, it's stressed to not go near the gate unless authorized, for you will be arrested on site. If your actions are hostile, the guards of Doom Gate will generally resort to force.

Hotel Nebula

The Hotel Nebula is located in Zone 3's City, Ziggurat, and is not only a place to "bed down," but holds a gambling joint, cabaret, and bar. A modernized "tavern" of sorts, Hotel Nebula is the more pleasant hang-out for the humans.

Those outside of the human race are not usually welcome here. Frequent brawls break out here, leading to fatal injuries and even death (especially for those not human).

Ziggurat City

The largest and only city in Zone 3, this place is full of bustling activity nearly 24/7. "Daytime" gives way to children seen playing in the streets on their way to school or the park as the adults make way to their jobs. "Night" conceives danger and romance around every corner, as well as new and old alliances forming...and even enemies too.

Be careful when traveling through Ziggurat City at night on your own; humans and non-humans alike.

Heilung Hospital

Smaller than its counterpart in Zone 2, Heilung Hospital - staffed entirely by humans - is still an impressive building. Although they do accept non-human patients in dire emergencies, their primary patient base is entirely human. Non-human patients are shunted to the Capital as soon as they're able to be moved.

Claymore Housing District

The Claymore Housing District is just as it states, a housing district set up for houses of reasonable sizes, as well as town houses and apartments. However, because of the space issues, lots of people end up being tenants in various large mansions that have managed to get created underground. Unless you are in pretty good standing with the government and make a decent amount of income, you're not really guaranteed a place of your own...so you better get a roommate to help pay for utilities!

Shangri-La Headquarters

In the Underworld, a system of government and order has been set up where government officials and leaders from all the factions of life (Human; Altered; Demi; & TrueBorn) have come together to regulate and keep the sanctity of what little is left. Peace has been hard to maintain over the decades, but with diligence, it has come to somewhat flourish. The main floors resemble that of a large corporation type atmosphere while the upper levels serve as a temporary housing area/hotel for guests to stay in. Below the headquarters is an underground facility where they have many holding cells and an interrogation room to deal with suspects or those who have rebelled against the Divine Shangri-La Code.

Though Shangri-La seems open to all, you need special access to enter this domain be it from one of the commanding Leaders of each race or those directly under them. All trespassers will be escorted off the premises and any attempt to resist will result in violent action being taken.

Abbadon Prison

Here is the universal prison facility where all criminals from all the Zone areas are holed up to work off their sentences with manual labor in the labor camps. Abbadon Prison does not discriminate against whatever race a criminal is, thus they are forced to be holed up together. Fights often break out, but instead of breaking them up, the guards of Abbadon just let them go at it and if the prisoners get killed in the process, it's completely their own faults.

Few who enter these walls ever fully complete their sentences and go back to their normal lives.

Memoir of Paradiso

Because Zone 2 is the central focus of law and order, as well as the mediator/border between the Human Zone and Non-Human Zone, Memoir of Paradiso was created as a central communing area for those of both races who wished to meet could do so if they did not feel confident or safe enough to venture into the others' territories. This city/park is a neutral location (besides Ground Zero) where members of all races do not have to fear for their safety from the wrath and aggression from the other races who do not wish to co-exist with them.

Memoir of Paradiso has plenty of places to sit and chat, as well as a large open area with artificial flowers and grass to give it the park appeal that the surface once flourished with years before. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Light's Reach Hospital

The largest hospital in the Zones, Light's Reach is host to both a widely varied staff and patient base. From humans to Shifters and Altereds to Demis, the staff gives every patient the best care they can. All patients unable to be given aid at Heilung Hospital or Aider Clinic are sent to Light's Reach.

Panimayu Housing District

Panimayu Housing District is just as it states, a housing district set up for houses of reasonable sizes, as well as town houses and apartments. Unlike the other Zones underground, Zone 2 does not have space issues. Generally only the really wealthy or those of noble standing can afford to stay in the residential areas in Zone 2 and some can even go so far as to live in a place all their own without having to bring in others to help pay for day-to-day utilities and rent. Panimayu is an ideal place to live...if your pocketbook can allow you to that is.

Infernal Regions

Infernal Regions got its name from the slightly hotter temperatures of Zone 1's main entrance after exiting Arcadia Station's platform. Not only is this place bustling with outdoor market activity, but Infernal Regions happens to be the area of Zone 1 with the worst activity for civil disputes among the different tribes/clans or races in general. Soldiers from Zone 2 usually patrol Infernal Regions to maintain some sort of order.

If one can make it through this area after stepping off of the Echelon Express and avoid getting mugged, raped, jumped, or even killed...that, alone, is an accomplishment in itself. Have fun.

Clandestine Arcs

This area of Zone 1 is completely under the control of the various clans of the race of Werecat Folk, and those with Werecat genes or abilities are accepted as well, be they Altereds or Demis. Clandestine Arcs is a city sectioned off from the others with various arcs as its most dominant architectural design. Inside Clandestine Arcs is a city of nightlife and excitement, as well as intrigue and mystery.

Those not of Werecat descent, tread cautiously amongst these cunning shifters.

Vagrant Grotto

Vagrant Grotto is under the control of the various clans/tribes of the Garou Nation of Loup Garou and those with Werewolf genes and/or abilities, be they Altereds or Demis, are accepted into their ranks as well. Vagrant Grotto is a city sectioned off from the others with various cliff and canyon resembling structures as its overall architectural design. Though a city, the conditions in Vagrant Grotto tend to be a bit more harsh than the other sections of Zone 1. If you go to just the right canyon/cliff, you can see into the worlds of not only the Werecat Folk, but the Equine and Kitsune as well.

Those not of Loup Garou descent, beware of these hostile, yet devious, creatures.

Hydra Valley

This valley has a deep, wide stream running down its center, and either shore is covered in rough grassoids. Here is where the proud and spiteful race of Naga live. These serpent beings are all of TrueBorn heritage and will have nothing to do with anyone outside of their "pure blood" distinctions. Unlike those of the Werecat, Equine, and Loup Garou tribes, Naga consider those of the Altereds and Demis to not only be disgusting creatures of low standing, but some of the more radical Naga believe that they should be wiped out completely.

Beware of the Naga, for they are viciously cold and disdainful, quick to anger and even quicker to act on their distaste.

Jument Grove

Members of the Equine race control Jument Grove and all its vast and open space. TrueBorns, Altereds, and Demis reside here in harmony. Despite the large city at its center, Jument Grove is well known for the surrounding open space of pseudo grass and long running stretches for the members of the Equine race to run at full lengths to keep themselves in shape. Many racing competitions are held here and hosted by the Equine where members of all races are invited to participate.

Out of all the sections in Zone 1, Jument Grove can truly be considered a sort of "safe zone" for all races in the Underworld. Unfortunately, like with any other group, there will be opposition from certain clans/tribes of Equine to other races. Thankfully, their actions are not as pronounced as those from the other races.

Sage's Drop

Beyond the vast plains of Vagrant Grotto lies Sage's Drop, territory of the noble (yet devious) Kitsune. Located near the edge of a cliff, the various tribes of Kitsune situate themselves within a somewhat treacherous terrace. The main city is located in a central area beyond its depths, but the tribes have chosen to place themselves amongst the areas where they find themselves the most comfortable. Bonzai trees protrude from the rock faces, giving Sage's Drop its glorious Asian splendor.

Though Kitsune tend to keep to themselves, they are open to visitors within their territories and are always up to hearing about strange phenomenons. However, be prepared to have a prank or two sprung on you when entering the depths of Sage's Drop.

Hybrid Lagoon

Hybrid Lagoon is the melting pot of Zone 1 for those of the Non-Human race. The Altered and Demis who feel that they could not reside amongst the races of those whom they possessed similar traits to or didn't feel they could be understood as adequately as they desired eventually congregated near one of many areas with open lakes amidst land. Thus, Hybrid Lagoon was formed. The city within Hybrid Lagoon resembles that of a semi-metropolis where the Altereds and Demis are able to adequately provide for themselves and the architecture is a bit more simplistic.

They accept any group who wishes to come into their fold. Again, there are radicals amongst those living in Hybrid Lagoon, but they've kept a low profile...for now.

Euphoria Housing District

Located in Infernal Regions, Euphoria Housing District is just as it states, a housing district set up for houses of reasonable sizes, as well as town houses and apartments. Zone 1 is unique because not everyone has to live in the Euphoria Housing District if they do no wish to. Instead, they may choose to live amongst their own kind if they so desire. The upside of choosing to live in Euphoria Housing District is you are more than likely able to get a place of your own. The downside is that the rent/mortgage will most likely kill your wallet. Getting a roommate is advisable.

Carnal Sin

Carnal Sin is THE highlight hangout for rogue activity and the central area of Ground Zero that causes many individuals of all races and walks of life to flock there. A combination night club and strip joint, drinks are poured by the gallon almost every night and the music is always there to set whatever mood you may be in. Also, illegal deals and other "business transactions" take place here. An ideal stake-out place, but be wary of how close and how often you come if that's your main reason for heading this way. Despite Carnal Sin's sophisticated appeal, brawls do occur here often.

*Illegal business deals are usually made here

Black Market

Yes, it has managed to survive and thrive. Not for the average shopper, this place consists of all commerce on which applicable taxes are being evaded. The market includes not only legally-prohibited commerce (for example, drugs, prostitution, and gambling activities that are illegal in some locales), but also trade in legal goods and services because some income is not reported and consequently taxation is evaded, e.g., through money laundering, payment in caeconomy, or black market consists of all commerce on which applicable taxes are being evaded.

The underground economy also includes transactions that governments may allow to be free of taxation, either by legal sanction or by simply choosing to refrain from enforcement of tax laws in certain markets. The term underground economy typically is not used to refer to trade in stolen goods, which is also given the name "black market".

*All illegal business deals, whether rogue affiliated or not are done here

Reaper Colosseum

An arena of death and sick fantasies involving blood baths, Reaper Colosseum is one of the most exciting forms of entertainment Ground Zero has to offer and where all the Zones know about. It is dank and the lighting isn't exactly the brightest in the world, but that makes it all the more exciting for the audience to watch the battles taking place in the arena below. Modeled after the old Roman Gladiator Colosseum, the stone and steel architecture gives off a looming sense of something ominous. There is a wrought iron gate at its entrance way. Not only do humans and non-humans compete against each other, but those of their own race compete against each other as well. The fights do not always end in fatality, but it does happen. Audience members often bet on their favorite contenders.

Off to the side is a concession stand where one can order either food or drinks if they can stomach either during the blood matches. There are also individuals who walk around during the fights with these same items to hand to people who do not wish to leave their seats.

Depth of Bagnio

Depth of Bagnio (also known as a brothel or whorehouse) is an establishment specifically dedicated to prostitution, providing the prostitutes a place to meet and to have sex with the clients. Some are even known to stay here to make their work life that much easier. Though Depth of Bagnio disguises itself as a simple massage parlor, there is no denying that this place is, indeed, a whore house.

Come here if you're willing to pay the price of sin.

Small and not incredibly well-funded, the Aider Clinic doesn't boast that large of a staff - though most are all excellent medical professionals. While they welcome everyone through their doors, there are those patients they simply are not equipped to help and have to shunt to The Capital for treatment.

Origa Housing District is just as it states, a housing district set up for houses of reasonable sizes, as well as town houses and apartments. Ground Zero does have space issues, but no one really cares here in The Slums. The rich and poor alike live here and they live alone or with tenants (and usually committing some act of sin). Live with a roommate at your own risk and the same goes for inviting people into your home at Ground Zero. You're liable to get raped, robbed, or killed in the blink of an eye; trusting is done at your own discretion.

Way of Delphian

Way of Delphian (or known as Delphian Passage) is located just beyond the deeper recesses of Bête Noire Station. Though dangerous to venture down these dark corridors of subterranean railways, it is well worth it. Why, you ask? Because by traversing through the open wall in Delphian Passage, you are able to make your way through a long line of channels that will eventually lead you up to the surface level! What's even better is that Way of Delphian is not as guarded as the Doom Gate of Zone 3, so the only opposition you will face is Echelon Express as it is coming and going through Bête Noire Station.

Again, caution must be met when traveling through Way of Delphian. It can seem like a never ending labyrinth if one is not careful.
