Resting..

Joe arrived at the double doors of the Hospital Wing, finding Madam Pomfrey and informed her that he needed to lie down for a while. Without asking for an explanation after the boy's mention of Kaizer, she directed him to the nearest bed and helped him lie down and brought the blanket over the boy before returning to her duties.

Joe closed his eyes and gave an inward sigh of relief.

[Zarah Lyam]

Zarah headed toward the Hospital Wing to see about getting something for her head. When she stepped inside, Korali, who padded beside her, informed her that Joe was there.

After talking briefly with Madam Pomfrey, receiving something for her head, she found Joe, whoe lay in a bed. She stood beside his bed, looking down at him. She felt terrible for his needing for being here, if he hadn't tried helping her, he wouldn't be here.

She noticed that he seemed to be sleeping. She spoke softly though, "I'm sorry Joe...you wouldn't have the need to be here...if you hadn't tried helping me. Korali told me what you did...and I am very thankful for it." she said as she looked down at him with a sadness in her eyes, then started to turn away and take her leave, not sure if he had heard, but to let him rest.

Her head still hurt terribly, she still wonderd on that.

Joe opened his eyes slightly after hearing Zarah's voice, he called out her name to get her attention before she left. "Zarah.." he started, slowly bringing himself up with his arm before he eventually sat up, looking down at Korali before his gaze was averted back to the girl. "It's no trouble.." he said, giving off a faint smile to her.

Zarah turned back when she heard Joe's voice. She had though he was asleep. "I'm sorry if I woke you...I just came up for something for this unbearable headache and Korali said you were here. I just...." she paused as she looked away. "I want to thank you..." she added, as she turned back to look at him.

Here eyes showed a darkness to them, possibly caused from that ache in her head that still wasn't going away. She raised her hand to her head, as if to stop the spinning, as she closed her eyes for a moment. "Korali says that this episode was the worse one yet, with me being unresponsive. But...." she paused again as she opened her eyes, noticing that Korali was now shoving a chair up behind her for her to sit.

As she sat, she gave a very small shake of her head, which made her head hurt, but no worse than before. "....but I don't remember...I can never remember...I'm not sure why." she said in a sad tone, putting her head into her hands.

Then she remembered that Korali had said that Kaizer had helped joe, and she suddenly looked up. "Is he ok?" she asked, then in a much softer tone, "Is Kaizer ok too?" she whispered, not wanting anyone to hear her words.

Joe nodded after a while. "By all means, any 'damage' done is inflicted on only me. And I have agreed to those terms a long time ago when I accepted the task of becoming a Dragon Samurai from Kaizer," Joe explained.

Joe took a moment to think before he continued. "So he is well. No need to worry about him. The only concern I have is that I was forced to use some of my own magical powers to help break down that barrier. Usually I would only use Kaizer's powers to do things, but sometimes I need to add a portion of my own to create a better effect."

[Zarah Lyam]

Zarah gave a sigh when she heard Kaizer was well. But shook her head slightly, though the movement caused her head to throb more. "I'm sorry....is there anything I can do for you?" she asked, her eyes gave a pained look as she looked at him.

Joe shook his head. "I'll be fine, don't worry."

[Zarah Lyam]

Zarah gave a nod, then looked toward the door. Then she looked back at him, "Then I should probably let you rest atleast....would you like me to go or sit here?" she asked him, just as Korali moved closer to the bed and laid his head on the bed beside the boy's hand, looking up into the boy's face with his golden eyes, seemingly to want his attention, but without speaking.

Joe looked down at the black wolf for quite a while before he replied, "I won't be long here. I just really needed to relax a bit to regain my energy."

[Zarah Lyam]

Zarah gave a nod as she looked down at Korali. "Then we will let you rest and take our leave." she said as she glanced back at Joe's face a moment, before standing, and lightly touching Korali's head.

The two then turned and headed for the door. As they walked through the Hospital Wing, Zarah looked down at the black wolf. 'Do you think he's really ok...wolf brother?' she asked him as she stopped and glanced back at the bed where Joe Lie, now partially hidden by the curtain.

{I'm sure that he is...Wolf sister...he just needs to rest!} Korali replied as he continued on toward the door and then out it. Zarah then followed after glancing back one last time.

Joe gave off a sigh of relief when he confirmed that Zarah and Korali had left the Hospital Wing before he rested his head back down on the pillow, closing his eyes and bringing an arm over them.

'It took more than a little out of you to do what you did earlier,' Kaizer said.

I didn't want them to worry, Kai. What did you want me to say, anyway? "I'll need most of the day to recover from helping you come back to your senses."

'Noble and considerate as usual, I see,' admitted Kaizer, giving off a faint chuckle before he let Joe to rest.
