Scorers Ben Willis 2 Jordan Clarke 1 Aaron Hayer 1 Joshua Matkin 1 A great team performance !! Ben (2) and Jordan (1) scoring in the first half against a strong Belper Saturday team. Belper replied with 2 goals making the second half interesting... However the PPJ lads came out the best with a further 2 goals from Josh Matkin and a penaulty from Aaron. Belper on managed 1 goal making the final score 5-3. Ashley Cokayne had an outstanding game winning the ball and passing well with Callum and Joseph Parkin. George, Luke and James were all strong in defence, with Dlylan making some great runs down the left hand side. Tommy played a stormer in goal. Well played lads... We have consolidated 4th position in the league (we would have been in Europe)and with some key players out next week for the final game this win was very important...! Cheers Andy bananaz |
