The result of the consultation with players and parents about preferences for next season, is that of those that responded 10 were in favour of the Burton League, and 2 in favour of the Notts League.
Consequently, we are in the process of submitting an application for registration with the Burton League for the 2009-10 season.
Dave, I think you will need to check the new FA rules. As I understand them you will need to play in the same league as you played in this season ie Notts or you join the Derbyshire Girls League.
As usual the FA rules are a bit woolley and open to interpretation.
I have emailed you a copy.

PS if the U14 teama are the same as U13 in Derbyshire league that means travelling to Whaley bridge which is near Manchester , Buxton 1 hours drive away, Wingerworth, etc
Thanks Gaynor. We are aware of the new rules - which include a number of important exemptions and - have registered to play in the Burton League.
Have you managed to get it sanctioned then. I'm still working on it for Woodlands. They are not playing ball for me.
Dont know what going to do - would be like playing Ashforby Amateurs away every week.
Only in girls football are you forced to travel a 60 mile round trip of you want to play league football
