What!? No tour of the lair itself? Well, anyway, it's nice to get fresh air every day.

I really enjoyed that. What a beautiful place to live. I would be much less reluctant to get on a bike again if I lived in a lovely flat place like that. It is beautiful here in the Wasatch Mountains... but they are MOUNTAINS. *sigh*

Lovely part of the country and a glorious day to be on the bike. You wouldn't want to see a video of my commute. 45 minutes and most of it on the M4! I do get to drive through the lovely south oxfordshire countryside that inspired Tolkin though.

A lovely ride. Cycling to work here in Dudley would take a little more guts than I'm willing to spread on the tarmac; the local cyclists really have to take their lives in their hands. However, given that the car failed its MOT last Thursday and I won't get it back until Wednesday, I did end up walking to work yesterday. I avoid most of the roads (and slice off nearly half a mile) by heading across the nature reserve, and in nice weather it's quite idyllic.

I usually take the dog for his walkies there, so he can meet his mates.

Nice greenery there! I used to live in a place like that. Actually, I still live in the same place, but the city has expanded out past me and all that greenery is gone now. All my trees, paths, shrubbery -- paved over with streets, lined with houses. I can go to the spot where I used to fish tadpoles out of smelly ponds as a kid, and there's a soccer field built on top of it, and neat and clean and tadpole-free.

Y'know, when you lifted up the camera helmet and put it on your head, I was half expecting you to fly up into the air. (I've been watching too many silly videos lately. wink.gif )

Cool - it's better than my commute! (on the motorway at walking speed)

I too, would love to see a virtual tour of the Otherworld nest!
