I like the way that you think!

The demon idol conversion is a nice idea. You could also maybe make the Wizard lab on the cover of Unearthed Arcana. As for monsters: I would say the four armed gargoyle from Tomb of Horrors, or go big...a Thessalhydra!
My other thought was that behemoth on the cover of the Manual of the Planes. I could see John bringing that beastie to life.

I like the idea of using the old book covers or an iconic illustration for a model. The climbing thieves is a good one, so we will be hard pushed to improve on that.
Maybe the efreeti on the DMG. The Drow queen on the front of the Queen of Spiders. The adventures in the small illustrations in the back of the DMG (Human warrior, Dwarf warrior, elf archer, halfling and female wizard). The Hill Giant Chief.

Personally, I'd have to pull for a red dragon. It was the Elmore cover of the Red Box and the Easley cover of the Monster Manual that got me into this so many years ago... But I also realize that's a challenging build (or at least I assume so based on the relatively scarcity and high cost of good dragon models).
The green devil face would be an interesting one too, but not sure that would ever be more than just a "display piece".
So how about a diorama of blink dogs fighting a displac..., I mean, a "coeurl".

"A Demon Idol conversion pack, including 2 climbing thieves, 2 flaming braziers and a stone altar."
I think the Demon Idol conversion will be my favorite but is more of a gallery item than an acutal playing piece.
"The adventures in the small illustrations in the back of the DMG (Human warrior, Dwarf warrior, elf archer, halfling and female wizard)"
The adventures has merit as well and might gauage interest in Otherworld PCs?

I like the idea with the demon idol.
If it was not just a limited release (personally I don't like limited releases at all, if a mini is great it should be available to all those willing to pay a fair price for it), I think it would be a good idea to celebrate your fifth anniversary by releasing the first Dragon (a White one seems appropriate to start it).
I'd like to see a female Hill Giant or something like that.
Another option would be an adaption of a picture from the Red Starter Set's Dungeon Master's Guide (I think it's page 5): There is a hooded man with a key hanging around his neck sitting at desk with his fingers searching through a book standing in front of him. I always thought of that as the Dungeon Master.
But to be honest with you, we all want Modrons.

It has to be a dragon in my mind - and not one of these crazy-sized ones either.
(edit: I've never used modrons)

@beholder: Although a bit dated and perhaps too small, it has been done before: Ral Partha Villains of KrynnYes, kiltedyaksman a PC-Set would be great.

Thanks, I have not seen that one before, but a new sculpt of it as a dio by Otherworlds would look great, IMO.

I like the idea of a version of the Efreet from the DMG.
What about a model of the demon that the Idol is based on? That might be kind of cool!

How about a PC pack, based on you guys that make OW what it is.
What would you be in a Dungeons and Dragons universe?
You could then sculpt the faces as liknesses of yourselves.
These would be both useable and collectable. I little bit of OW in your party.
