How about some alien warriors based loosely on the art of Rodney Matthews? He has a motif of skinny alien-faced, mostly noseless characters appearing in many of his works. Look like they'd fit right in to the Fiend Folio... maybe even an alternate cover >hint< >hint<

That would be so cool I love Rodney's art! I have two of his books published by Paper Tiger and his Jabberwocky print haning in my painting room

I still have that Imagine magazine i bought when i was 16 !

I always thought "astral elves" would be a reasonable product idea.
