Looking so much forward seeing Duegars and Drow - and Manticore is certainly an interesting surprise - but have to get it out of my system ..... where is the EoT II and the Eye of the deep conversion kit. user posted image You must simply have forgotten writing them, right?

Ceowald - April 15, 2011 04:33 AM (GMT)
Sounds like more winners to me! I'm really excited to see the constrictor snake and the Manticore is a nice surprise!

David Wasilewski - April 15, 2011 08:37 AM (GMT)
Good releases for the Underdark range there!

Looking forward to seeing the Lizardman King and the Manticore too.

Hi everyone, new member here. Love the stuff. Can I ask, when are there going to be pictures of the giant snakes available (they are up for ordering but no pics yet). Also what is happening with the voucher scheme? I want to get a gold one soonish (not next month - I've got a quarterly gas and electric bill to pay) but probably the month after - are they still available (I know it says until end of March but they are still advertised).

Anyway, hi to all, and keep up the good work Otherworld.

PS Make some Giant Bats and Elementals please

Darksteed - April 28, 2011 06:06 PM (GMT)
The vouchers were a limited time offer that happened to be reposted at the beginning of March. Sorry to say they have come and gone. Perhaps Richard might do them again next year.

Otherworld - April 28, 2011 09:03 PM (GMT)
The voucher offer is still actually running, I just haven't found the time to update the website over the last few weeks! If you're quick, you should be able to grab one, but they won't be there much beyond the end of the month.

The snakes pics will be added in the next few days.

Darksteed - April 29, 2011 03:08 AM (GMT)
Oh sweet. It's still running. Yay!

Dargrin - May 11, 2011 06:11 PM (GMT)
Just saw the releases in May. All really cool except the Ogre Magi which is now at the top of my buy list.

Is there a better picture of the Manticore's face?

Darksteed - May 11, 2011 08:03 PM (GMT)
I'm close to placing a large order myself. Was curious if there was any pictures of the Eye of Terror II set and the Lizard King. Looking to include them just want to see the difference between the sets of Terrors.

John - May 11, 2011 08:42 PM (GMT)
I think you will have to wait until the painted version is complete before you see it.

clam - May 12, 2011 06:52 AM (GMT)
What did you use for sculpting these, John? Pink Fimo - or another disgusting colour, that makes the green so ugly that we can't have a glimpse of it?

I'm afraid I have another voucher purchase coming. Haven't even started painting the last ones, but I need those Duergars ..., need them badly :)

John - May 12, 2011 12:54 PM (GMT)
That's not very nice. You have hurt his and my feelings. :(

DukeoftheBloodKeep - May 12, 2011 04:35 PM (GMT)
Judging by the quality of his work I think John uses paper mache! :P

John - May 12, 2011 05:20 PM (GMT)
If you are going to be like that, you know where Frothers is. <_<

DukeoftheBloodKeep - May 12, 2011 09:10 PM (GMT)
:P You know I'm only teasing. I've already ordered the new Ogre Mage!

John - May 12, 2011 09:19 PM (GMT)
Clam has still hurt the Mage's feelings. He could only eat a halfling this evening.

DukeoftheBloodKeep - May 12, 2011 10:00 PM (GMT)
He wasn't mocking the Mage. He was suggesting that we couldn't see the green of the Eye of Terror because it was made from something hideous!

John - May 12, 2011 11:01 PM (GMT)
Well, it's no secret - I use greenstuff mixed with brownstuff - not for everyone, but I like it. It does not photograph well, though, as the shadows do not contrast as well. It also means I need an effective light source, but the properties outweigh it's foibles.

I don't mix fimo in - I have tried sculpy, but didn't find it helped much.

and as you know, I take all comments here in the spirit in which I believe them to be posted, ie, well natured! :D

clam - May 13, 2011 11:02 AM (GMT)
Sorry if I hurt any ones feelings especially the Ogre Mage's :P

But like Duke said, I'm just surprise why we cant see the EoT's in the flesh - so to speak - and have to wait for painted versions. Let me to believe that it must be due to the look of the sculpt itself. Already have Eye I so I know the quality, so had to be the sculpting putty. So, my best bet was 'Pink Fimo' - totally understandable why Richard couldn't allow that to be showed user posted image

DukeoftheBloodKeep - May 13, 2011 11:56 AM (GMT)
My guess is that it was sent off to Gryphon before it could be photographed in order to be available by the end of may.

Are we talking about that Otyugh again!

@Clam - glad to see you are back on all three feet. I hope you are not too sore. Check out the Chaos Dwarves I posted for you in Duke's April challenge.

Hmm! don't think it's 'time' - John has been finished for ages now, right John?

Probably more to do with a billion small pieces without pre-holded sockets that will make it almost impossible blu-tac-ing together.

But a bits breakdown shot would have been nice.

But why do I care. I want it - wetter I know how it looks or not. It's a 'John', so can only be awesome :)

@AndyM
Chaos Dwarfs :D

Will go check right away.

Smithy - June 9, 2011 05:16 PM (GMT)
Richard,
can you tell us when the latest sculpts are sent out (going to be sent) - I am not chasing you up, I just need to know as the Royal Mail round my bit is a bit of a disaster at present. I want to know so i can check up on them, i have had 2 packages returned in last fortnight. First time in years.

Cheers,
Smithy
