Seems that work bug has hit us all. This is the first time I've turned the PC on at home for over a week. Spring cleaning of the house has started early, too. There's a few boxes about still from when we moved in over a year ago.

Oh yeah, and my 360 came back from MS, so I've been playing that too.

I just remembered, next flick is Breaking and Entering, the new Anthony 'English Patient' Minghella. Starring Jude Law. A step down from PJ and Duncan prolly.

Werewolves are a bit of a sideline character rather than suitable for a whole film. American Werewolf in London was top, and it's pretty hard to find another storyline to better that. There was that Jack Nicholson one (dull) and Dog Soldiers was a good attempt but didn't quite cut it for me. The Howling films are always good for a laugh.

There was that French thing from a couple of years ago. I'm not talking about American Werewolf in Paris.

They should make a proper period style werewolf film, with MOORS and stuff. It'd be like the best bits of pride and prejudice and the hound of the baskervilles rolled into one.

The French werewolf film is Brotherhood of the Wolf. It's not great unless you're into Monica Belucci and other hot flange - she is great in it though.

The Company of Wolves is pretty demented - but it's difficult to describe it as a werewolf film, despite having werewolves throughout.

Dog Soldiers I thought was great - I didn't expect anything particularly, and didn't get very much - but it was entertaining enough.

To be honest I think werewolves are a really tired device - the whole "two sides to the human character" dynamic is a little too linear. How about someone who is a twat who turns into someone really nice when he eats lemon meringue? Etc. Etc.

I love werewolves but they are in a bunch of proper shit flms. This Blood and Chocolate doesn't sound like it's gonna change things too much.
