Howlin' Mad and Triple A are the admins on this site, any and all problems should either be brought to their attention via PM or email at mj_onthejazz@hotmail.com General Board Rules: *Please post your topic or reply in the right spot! If you're uncertain where that is or think I need to add the right spot because it doesn't exist, PM or email the admins and we will get back to you as quickly as possible! *Excessive cursing is not allowed. That is not to say swearing will not be allowed, but if every other post is a curse, you will be banned/warned! *Please don't advertise your site, fic, or whatever else in forum threads! If you wish to promote your web site or fanfic or whatever else, please do so in your signature or the designated threads! Advertising will also result in suspension or a warning depending on severity! If your site is relevant to the discussion (say someone is looking for A-Team pics and your site has them) then it will be allowed. *Please think before you post - read very thoroughly what you have typed and consider your words and phrasing. Treatment of other posters: Flaming in any form is not tolerated. Any user attacking others will be given a warning for the first and second offenses and banned for the third. While we'll permit cursing, it should NOT be directed at other users. Please do not respond to flames. It only encourages the user to continue the behavior and serves to escalate the situation. If you are being flamed, please contact one of the moderators and we'll take care of the problem. We will use the three strikes and you’re out policy. We should only have to warn you once about this. Twice is being generous. Three times is amazingly patient of us. Four times and you get an automatic ban. NOTE: For any offense other than arguing over an edit, we will also give you three warnings before a ban. Also, DO NOT POST HERE UNDER ANOTHER NAME IF YOU ARE BANNED. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN A LONGER BAN AND OTHER POSSIBLE CONSEQUENSES. THE ADMINS WILL KNOW IF YOU DO THIS. Bans: The first ban will be 24 hours, unless the offense is severe enough to warrant longer. Each time thereafter, they will double. (For example, second ban is 48 hours, third is 96 hours, etc.) However, this is subject to change by whoever is doing the banning. We may decide to be more lenient. ;) If you are banned and want to know why, please use the email posted at the top of the site. Images and Emoticons in Signatures: All images in signatures must be no larger than 300x80 pixels. You are allowed the use of up to six emoticons, plus one image. All font must be size 7 or under. If your signature violates these rules, you will be asked to change it. If you do not change it, the admins will change it for you. This is to help those on dial-up, so please be careful to follow this. If you are PMed about your sig, keep in mind it is as a courtesy to other members and not meant to be personal. Religious Issues: Religious discussion is permitted, but no user is allowed to attack/mock any religion. Religious insults will be seen as such regardless of what religion is being targeted. Drug and Alcohol Use: If you aren't allowed to drink where you live, you shouldn't be talking about how drunk you got last night. If you aren't allowed to use a drug where you live, you shouldn't be talking about how high you got. That said, discussion about drug and alcohol use will be allowed, but will be monitored.
