The default nickname is "Guest" followed by three random numbers. To change it, which is a good idea, type "/nick [Desired nickname]".

Also, here's a list of basic IRC commands if you ever wish to access some of the chat's other features.

This is a public room, so don't be surprised to see people you don't know or who aren't even from this site. If you're looking to talk to a specific person, try a private message or IM program first.
