Though this world is home to a variety of different species, and everything imaginable lives somewhere, there are still certain races that are more common than others. Keep in mind that only a few of them are listed here, and that they are based off in-world scientific records.

Common Species:

• Humans: Diversity and well-roundedness has rendered human kind the dominant species. Their ability to be adept at any form of combat, magic, and all other things makes mankind a formidable force despite its lack of inherited powers. Humans are the most geologically distributed species, due to their high adaptivity.
• Anthropomorphics: The only thing separating them from the humans is the fact that they take the form of animals, save for their body structure, which seems to originate from that of humans anyhow. They are just as diverse and well-rounded, though are accompanied by the pros and cons of their four-legged counterparts.
• Vampires: Because most anything can be vampiric, it seems as though the undead have been on a rampage for centuries. Really, though, their numbers pose no threat, and many can live alongside mortal society thanks to the development of technologies and services that can sustain them. There are some exceptions and those who still follow ancient vampiric traditions, but these rogue creatures are easily kept under control by Hunters and mercenaries.
• Lycanthropes: Otherwise known as werewolves, and most commonly humans with the ability to take the form of a bipedal wolf. They, like vampires, are harmless (for the most part) despite the fact that they are a significant portion of the population. Many of them, however, cannot resist a good frenzy every full moon. Despite scientific efforts, the connection between the lycan race and the phases of the moon has not been tampered with.
• Therianthropes: Considered to be a subspecies of lycanthrope, therians take the form of animals other than wolves. Some are simply shapeshifters while others exhibit lycanthropic characteristics. They are not as widely feared in certain areas, but that does not mean they aren't as dangerous at times.

This is only a small list and is currently in development. Remember, this is a world without limits.
